Anyway i've decided to buy a tablet and currently i'm having trouble picking one.
If you had a choice between Samsung galaxy note pro 12.2 or Microsoft surface pro 2 what would you go for?
I could get the samsung for about 500 or the surface 128 gb for about 700 euros.

One's a tablet, the other is a laptop(specs-wise) with a touchscreen, what do YOU need?
Personally, I'd get the Note, because for the money a Surface Pro 2 costs, I can probably get a laptop that has better specs and would serve me better.
R7 2700x @4GHz / MSI B450 Tomahawk / beQuiet! Dark Rock 4 / 32GB @3000 MHz / MSI RTX 2060 Gaming Z / Samsung 850 EVO 250GB / Western Digital 1TB / Fractal Design Meshify C Dark / SuperFlower Leadex Gold 650W / DELL whatever 27 inch IPS

I hate everything about the Samsung anything. Their UI sucks, their casing is garbage cheap fisher price plastic.
The Dell Venue and Nexus are by far the best Tablets I've used and owned.

What will you be using it for? A 12 inch tablet seems really too big for me. I have a galaxy note 10" 2014 and sometimes I think I should have bought an 8" one... The pen works well, the screen is great, and it's not too slow (faster than any other tablet I tried, still obviously slower than a pc).
For me the main problem with tablets is the fucking touchscreen keyboard, having a physical keyboard is just SO MUCH BETTER... I guess I'm old school.

Mostly studying. Lots of PDF work, some games and maybe watching a couple of movies while at the seaside. And i specifically don't want a laptop. I like the fact you can run 4 apps at the same time, the screen is 40%+ bigger which i like (i don't plan on carrying it around everywhere only on trips and such), the battery life is really good (bigger battery), speakers are good, its not much heavier than 10,11 inch tabs. The fact that i can get it for the price of a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is also a big reason.

Make sure you hold it in your hands for a little while before buying, I still think 12" is too much...
About the 4 apps at the same time thing, I kinda doubt it's useful, I rarely ever use it with 2 apps, it just feels clumsy, and since it's a samsung "invention" and not an android feature it doesn't always work as it should... (sometimes one app will close, or the option to open a second window simply disappears).
