Id rather see them try many things than just get stuck doing rpgs (even if im a HUGE rpg fan)
Why the hell would you want that? Jack of all trades, master of none. They should definitely stick to RPGs. I'm sure they themselves would actually prefer that as well. This, like the Russian MMO they are doing work for, is pretty obviously a "will give blowjob for food" move by Feargus.
Hey! ...hey. hey. We've all been there, these things happen. We all dream of making RPGs but sometimes...sometimes, to make that dream come true, we have to do something we hate. Something we secretly love but must publicly hate. Sometimes...we have to work on a MMO.

Cos having experience of more than one kind of game can create new perspectives on the rpg genre.

And perhaps we can end up with something like the old Snowblind title for PS2; "Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers" a WW2 top-down RPG. I'd love that ^_^

Even if they're doing it only for the money, how can that hurt? More money to fund bigger (and for us) more interesting projects.

Wait, Obsidian? The one always and forever known for its brilliant RPG's is making a free-to-play tank sim? What the fuck are they thinking?!
This concerns me greatly....
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

You guys can say what you want but I'm kinda looking forward to this. It doesn't look bad at all and if it's not too much p2w it might be pretty decent (it's Obsidian after all).
