Ubisoft has just announced two new Trials games to release next year.
The first is Trials Fusion, which will be available on all current and next-gen consoles and PC, whilst the second is Frontier, a mobile exclusive instalment in the motorbike-based puzzle franchise.
The two will work together to create a large, social online feature. The two games will also include a brand new trick system, allowing players to pull off stunts in the air.
You can watch the joint trailer for both titles below.
Trials is coming back with all the gut-sucking drops and teeth-gritting ascents you remember from the dirt-bike racer's first two editions, this time adding ATVs, midair tricks and a slew of new environments to Trials Fusion, coming April 16.
The game will release for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PC. The digital version will cost $19.99. The same release said that a phsyical disc will be sold for Xbox One and PS4 that costs $39.99, which includes a "Season Pass."
BETA tomorrow. Only for users pre-ordered from Uplay store.
Quote:
Today, Ubisoft® announced that players who pre-order Trials Fusion™ for Windows PC on Uplay™ and other selected digital retailers will have access to a closed beta, which will begin tomorrow, March 21. Trials Fusion™ will be available on PC on April 24, and pre-orders are available right now.
The Beta phase will include 14 tracks and 2 skill games during its first phase, with leaderboards and challenges. The content of the Beta will evolve in time through weekly updates until launch.
Trials Fusion™ is the highly anticipated sequel to the massively popular platform racer Trials Evolution®. Developed by RedLynx in collaboration with Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Kiev, Trials Fusion™ offers players an unlimited array of obstacles and challenges as they race against the clock – with players from around the globe – to set track records.
The game builds off the same maddeningly addictive physics-based gameplay of its predecessors while incorporating brand-new features, including the FMX tricks system. Create tracks that stretch your imagination and skill, and put your friends to the test by sharing online with the bustling Trials Fusion community, made possible by the fan-favorite Editor mode.
Whether players choose to race alone, against friends or in a worldwide tournament, the competition is endless. Just one run is never enough.
Trials Fusion™ will be available on the Xbox® 360, Xbox® One and Sony PlayStation 4 entertainment systems on April 16.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
How much is missing in the Beta compared to the retail?
Most of the game. Two sections are open now, one more will open april 5th, and another one april 11th. (if I remember the dates right) Anyways more than 60% of the game is unavailable in the beta. The files might be there tho... would be awesome if someone could haxx0r it available
Be careful if you have a medium-end computer. The game is set to run at 60 fps and whenever the framerate drops, the game speed drops. So if your computer can only achieve 50 fps, you will play in slow motion I don't think it will be fixed for the release.

Enable frameskip in the emulator options. Oh wait, this is happening on a PC game in 2014 ?!

Need for speed rivals has it too, except it was locked to 30fps
so does PC version have any advantages over PS4? i played PS4 demo and it looks and runs great at 1080p 60fps. i can get it cheaper for 20USD on PSN vs 20EUR on steam and PS4 doesn't have Uplay shit.
