Do you remember when third person games used to have a centered camera with a pretty decent FOV on top of that? Yeah, well, most devs don't seem to! |
But that was frankly obsolete.. I mean, you couldn't be part of the action, you couldn't feel the viscerality of the cinematic awesomesomeness flowing through your veins. I'm sad that black bars haven't been implemented here, they could have been the icing on the cake!
Thankfully we have that first person view too, because the game looks pretty fun.

I was expecting the complaints about the third person view to be exaggerated. If anything, they were understated.
And having a first person option really wont help this game to not be trash, in my opinion. Any dev. responsible for that abomination of an fov and camera position can't be capable of producing anything worthwhile.
Looks pretty shit even aside from all of that anyway. I'll be actively hoping that this kickstarter fails.
