Full quote:

Quote:
"When we have a new product that has elements that we're not sure how people will respond to, what do we do as a corporation?" he asked, referring to his time as writer and game director on Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2.

"We market it, and we market it as much as we can - so that whether people like it or not, we do all the things we can to essentially brainwash people into liking it before it actually comes out."

This is the very definition of marketing. It's no secret.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

At least he's being honest. Laughing

Remember when a CoD dev or whatever said people who only play CoD aren't real gamers? Very Happy

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

If the game was even half as good as their marketing campaign, it would be the best game in the world.

Because love or hate these assholes, the marketing of this year's CoD is imho great. Even I had a kick watching the promo materials, even though I don't intend to buy atm.

The trailers were great, very nicely crafted, and getting Spacey on board is very smart move.

These guys are professionals, can't blame them for that, although this brainwashing qute is rubbish.
