Going to make some diving holidays soon, but cant decide...
GoPro pros over X7:
- Superview
- Auto low light
- Way better ios app
- Remote control
X7 pros over GoPro:
- Cheaper (279,- vs 335,-)
- More natural colors
- Battery lasts twice as long
- Integrated LCD Display (100,- extra for GoPro)
- Dive-mode (color filter)
- Way more accessories
Some comparison:
The picture quality is nearly the same, they both do 1080p with 60fps and 720p with 120fps (X7 even 480p with 240fps). The things that i cant decide over are the better battery and the integrated display. Any oppinions?
To me GoPro colors look more natural. X7 is looks too orange/yellow. But otherhand
with x7 those lights on the ground does not glow that much and does not have those flaire effects 1:45 to 1:51

X7 has better colors, worse mic, does produce aliasing in 1080p/60 (though that might be solved with the newest firmware update), and all the other stuff mentioned above.
I made my decision anyway to 98% for the X7. I aso dont like the fact, that GoPro is producing new cams every 6-12 months... like Apple does with its products.
Finally got the X7 and just made this video, edited with imovie on my ipad... took 5mins to go from retard to full retard.
Next week im in croatia for a little diving, which will probably result in some better vids.
