And people wonder why the new Cosmos series was aimed at people who are on the level of first graders when it comes to scientific literacy (no offence, first graders ).
Wish these retards would come up with something new already. It's getting boring, refuting the same idiotic arguments for the trillionth time.
I think they´re trying to implement the monarchy in america, to that end they need to make the ppl belive that there actually is a god, and that a person can actually have the divine right of kings by the grace of god.
Funny, I dealt with this the other day using Douglas Adams masterful use of humour to completely destroy any notions of creationism and intelligent design....

Oolon Colluphid used the Babel fish as the main theme of his best-selling book, Well That About Wraps It Up For God. More specifically, Colluphid uses the Babel fish as an argument for intelligent design (or - and there are some subtle differences here) in a version of the so-called teleological argument for God's existence. But Colluphid then goes further - using the existence of the Babel fish to try to prove that God does not exist.
The whole argument runs, roughly, as follows.
God refuses to prove that (S)He exists because proof denies faith and without faith God is nothing.
Man then counters that the Babel fish is a dead giveaway because it could not have evolved by chance. So the fish proves that God exists - but hence also, by God's own reasoning (see 1) that God does not exist.
God says that (S)He hadn't thought of that (hadn't thought of 2) and promptly disappears in a puff of logic.
(replace the babelfish with any "evidence" the creationists/intelligent design-dimwits put forth)
About god creating the Earth for Man:
Quote:
. . . imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, 'This is an interesting world I find myself in, an interesting hole I find myself in, fits me rather neatly, doesn't it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!' This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, it's still frantically hanging on to the notion that everything's going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise. I think this may be something we need to be on the watch out for.
In his own words:
Although, here's the biggest weapon against agnosticism and atheism:
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"

We all know that Slartibartfast made the fjords atleast..
Love the atheist Experience. That particular episode has been my fav one for ages!
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
Why only watch snippets? Just subscribe to their podcast feed and get the audio version soon after every new episode airs in Austin.
I still listen every week, since no matter how mad i am at myself for half assng my education, they show me that i could be a whole lot stupider.
Also a good show is the 'Thinking Atheist'. The host Seth Andrews already made an appearance on the hump in one of his speech/presentation videos he did at some convention. That guy is a natural showman and his enthusiasm is just a joy to listen to.
Maybe evolution is just living things evolving into god. And this god then creates a new universe based on the history he remembered from his childhood, in which there is no evolution but everyone believes in it nonetheless, because really, there is a part of evolution in everything still.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
See but what The Zeel says perfectly captures the problem here. For y'all who embrace Darwin's theories about 'Evolution', can you give me observable evidence that evolution is true? And please don't come up with the usual "yeah but one million of years ago this happened and we evolved, lol", I want it to be observable now. Because otherwise it's just blind faith in the experts and so called scientists. Just one piece of observable evidence, and then your points will be proven.

You should become a Poe.
Just for the hell of it, I did a quick search. "Observable examples of evolution". First result:
Kinda speaks volumes. They have the biggest well of knowledge in human history at their fingertips, and they are simply unwilling to type in a few words and read a little, because it would challenge their fairytale book written by bronze age primitives in the desert.
