Hi,

I use the tailored configs avalaible at http://ucguides.savagehelp.com/Doom3/FPSConfigs.htm (I use the 256Mb highest quality one), but since I have the new expansion pack for doom, I have some weird bugs :

When I play Doom 3 (the original), everything works fine, but as soon as I launch the expansion pack (these screenshots are taken from the intro scene), I have these bugs (it has something to do with explosions or the way flames are rendered in the game).

Here are my specs :

Motherboard : Abit AV8 (latest bios)
1Go DDram
Gef 6800GT (I tried a lot of drivers, even the latest 76.41 betas, and the bug is still here)
Sound Blaster live 1024 (latest drivers).
Win XP sp2.

Here's the autoexec.cfg I use :

seta r_customHeight "960"
seta r_customWidth "1280"
seta r_mode "-1"
seta com_allowConsole "1"
seta sys_lang "french"
bind "MOUSE5" "screenshot 1600 1200 8"
bind "t" "toggle pm_thirdperson"
seta image_usePrecompressedTextures "0"
seta image_useCompression "1"
seta image_downSizeLimit "1024"
seta image_ignoreHighQuality "0"
seta image_downSizeBumpLimit "1024"
seta image_downSizeSpecularLimit "512"
seta image_downSizeBump "1"
seta image_downSizeSpecular "1"
seta image_downSize "1"
seta image_forceDownSize "1"
seta image_roundDown "0"
seta image_lodbias "-1"
seta image_preload "1"
seta r_useCachedDynamicModels "1"
seta r_skipBump "0"
seta r_skipPostProcess "0"
seta r_skipParticles "0"
seta r_skipSpecular "0"
seta r_skipNewAmbient "0"
seta r_multiSamples "2"
seta r_shadows "1"
seta r_useOptimizedShadows "0"
seta r_useTurboShadow "0"
seta g_projectilelights "1"
seta g_skipParticles "0"
seta g_bloodEffects "1"
seta g_decals "1"
seta g_showBrass "1"
seta g_muzzleFlash "1"
seta g_doublevision "0"
seta g_showPlayerShadow "1"
seta image_anisotropy "4"
seta image_filter "GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR"

I really can't see what is wrong with this autoexec.cfg, because that's the one I used with doom3...
I tried to remove this autoexec.cfg, the doom3.cfg, and the mods I used with doom 3, and then relaunch the game (in order to "re create" a default config file), but no luck this weird green bug is still here.
I tried nearly 10 different forceware drivers, but no luck either.
I tried to launch the game with anti aliasing and anisotropy set to 0, but it didn't fix it Sad

If you have any ideas, thanks in advance for letting me know Smile

EDIT: i've fixed this bug,
So if you have any similar bug, and if you use an autoexec.cfg file, simply modify the command :
seta image_forceDownSize "1"
To
seta image_forceDownSize "0"
And this bug disapear.

BIG THANKS to Requ!em from UCguides for helping me with this ! Very Happy
