I noticed this forum has an abundance of lurkers.
I just counted five members from the 1970's online 5 minutes ago, who never posted for years, and one never even posted once.
Didn't think sexyjesus still existed!
Its time for you to come out of the shadows or are you afraid..?
I wonder how many more there are. Out there, watching us...
Statistics also say that there are more females active on this board than we can possibly know of. Riddle me this!

most lurkers are from irc and just come here to lol at us and create new memes based on our own interactions.

I also mostly lurk on most forums I am signed up on. I contribute at times, but often enough I don't have anything worthwhile to say so I just keep it to myself. I highly value the movie recommendations though, the short honest game feedback and all the game tweaks that are discussed here immediately after game releases.
However, I must admit, lately I have been reading a lot more on the somethingawful forums because of the incredibly high knowledge of their forum members there and their well-organized ops about literally ANYTHING.

Thanx Lutz. I will try to be less insecure. Maybe writing more is the only way to learn how to write which is hard if you are not good in writing (paradox?)

Friend since when is perfect english a meassure of someones intelligence? With some of the english speaking people posting the stuff they do I'd say shouldnt have any problems posting.

@chibuky: we had people, with way worse english skills. And yes, writing will help a lot, because you ll be training your active language skills (and writing is easier, because you can always cheat by looking up words, whcih in cant in normal conversation). Watching a lot of english movies / tv series and / or reading helps a lot as well. But as i said, you re doing very well

Pruning, disabling or archiving unused accounts (no activity for 2-3 years) should be a consideration.

In line with the topic, why are there always so many guests here, even right now there are:
"In total there are 50 users online :: 14 Registered, 2 Hidden and 34 Guests"
Do people just enjoy reading the discussions or?
Because it can't be for keys or stuff like that, The Sharing Corner is locked for guests and it requires some post contribution.
