I was on my pc all day, no problems. Then I quit to watch football, i left my comp on like always. I was not downloading anything. only Pro Evolution Soccer 4 was running, which i minimized to continue the game later. Then, an hour ago, I turned on my monitor and saw a black screen... My computer rebooted for some reason and it hanged just after POST. I rebooted again but it didnt want to start...

I went to bios and saw both Harddisks, but as soon as I rebooted and passed the POST it was hanging again... Nothing happens. I thought it crashed, so I tried the shitty Windows 2000 server HD i used for school, and that worked. But windows CANT detect these two harddrives and they're really important, lots of stuff was on these:(

Now im wondering, isn't it wierd that two harddisk just suddenly stop working/crash? Is that even possible? Did my IDE cable fucked them both up in some way?

Anyone who can help me out? Sad

weird, it's very unusual that two discs die at the same moment. Can you connect these disc on another comp to see if they work?

I managed to recover some files via GetDataBack though, and it looks like all data on the drives are still working. But I still have no idea what happened yesterday..

Yeah BIOS sees them, windows doesnt. I'll try partition magic now and report back with the results Smile
