!@*&*&*!$$!

Since its campaign time the press is revealing LOTS of corruption cases, wasted money, millions, its a shit smearing mess.

AND OUT OF FUCKING NOWWHERE. I just received news that all packages purchased outside the country with a value under US$200 will be paying 18% taxes on the declared value. Something that was by law exempt. Now theres just a notification from Customs saying its going to tax it and no fucking legal support was said about Why its happening.

So it means that whatever made it taxable went under the radar, and people were protesting HARD against that each time it popped up, well now its done and noone noticed.

Fucking shit, they waste the money and the poor/medium class has to pay MORE taxes. because thats teh fucking solution for this shithole, more taxes, ignore the waste and corruption.

Reminds me of a friend of mine who have for the last 30+ years said "I hate my job". (factory)
One day he wrote how much he hates his job at FB and another friend who used to work with him like 25 years ago answered him somthing in the lines of this:

"Patrik, 25 years ago when I worked with you you told me how much you hate your job. What have you done since then? I can tell you what Ive done.
I became a diving instructor in Thailand, Ive worked as a submarine "pilot" outside japan. Ive worked in Vietnam/Korea/Australia and ive got a master degree in psychology. (he kept on going with like 30 more things he have done since).
Stop telling yourself how much you hate your job and do something about it."

And yeah Lopin18 - the same thing goes to you Smile

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

It goes as follows... thoughts -> emotions -> reaction. There are 3 ways to handle emotions... one is to run away from the negative feelings (and therefore freeze in place, as you cant run away from them), the second one is to change what causes those emotions in you and the third one is just allow the emotion to be there without interfering and identifying with it (most people say "im angry", but actually they are not anger... they "feel" anger, which makes a difference between "you" and "anger").

The third one may be a bit hard for an untrained, the second one may be hard too. So most people just get stuck in their negative emotions and get so much used to them, that they think thats how life is.

Here we don't pay taxes and custom fees on postal packages if the total amount don't exceed 1000 Euros and / or 31 kg per month. It was like that for quite some time Very Happy

But looks like retailers finally managed to pressure government to lower it. Anytime now, the new limit is going to be 150 Eur / 10 kg per month.

Oh im working to get the hell out of here. For once the public has reacted, theres a huge huge huge outrage about this.

Problem is that we have a treaty with USA, about importing stuff, in which it states clearly that all things from USA and other affiliated countries are exempt from taxes. And now we have this which crashes face on with the treaty.

This is just to please the medium sized corporations who cant compete with amazon and other companies.

Until i finished the university and my master, i cant get away. I can only whine and get pissed and start cutting back expenses. Mad

How long to finish it and would that be worth anything where you are going?

Just asking since: if it's not much worth outside your country, you could already study abroad instead of lingering around.

Im 1 year out from graduating, Ive been told i can con-validate my career in USA and Canada, i have to investigate to be reaaallyyy sure.

Then im planning on staying 1 more year and do a master in project management which is right now the one im interested, that one is valid in canada as the university of quebec montreal is working with the local university to impart the master here.

I suppose that should give me enough leverage to get a starting job in usa or canada, if not ill follow my current gf to spain.

Studying abroad is too expensive and risky as im the current support of my whole family.

Thing is the language barrier, i only know spanish and english.

I do have a cousin who got married and moved to Germany, hes like my brother extremely attached childhood friend, i could talk to him and get some guidance on germany.

Im open for all places now, Canada is my first choice so far. Spain i am afraid of that, the situation there seems dire. And USA yea.... too many problems.

I would avoid Spain for now Lopin, it's not ready yet. Some important measures have been approved, but the situation there isn't looking good at the moment when it comes to employment/job opportunities. Germany on the other hand should be ideal, especially if you already know someone there who can guide you. I'd still choose Canada though! (at least I could understand the people Razz)

All i ask is the space to work, live, rest, race cars Awesome and SENSE, just a place where things may make sense. Because over here all you read and hear is outrageous, its beyond ridiculous. Millions stolen, lost, laws broken, all pointed by official institutions that manage government accounts and it just passes by. I know it happens everywhere but to be seen and found so easily and nothing happening, thats just too much.

Where ever i may move to, i just hope to be able to work, grow and live peacefully giving my family a peaceful happy life

I wish i could do something for this country, i truly do, but i know anything i may do could end up with me being dead. So no thanks. fuck this.
