They decided to go with the mouse for movement and WASD for the Tetris part and this combinations is just not fast enough for what you need in such a game. It's good they released a demo, the potential feedback could save this. Otherwise the game has a fresh take on the approached genres and I liked what I saw in the few minutes I could suffer through the controls.

I wonder if mouse & keyboard controls are better now because they were a mess in the demo.
