I cannot believe how fragile this things are. I only carried it from one doom to another and held it by it's sides and it seems display under glass broke. I didn't hit it or drop it. I am pissed. Had it for only 10 months. LG 32GK650F to be exact.

Is it worth repairing in your opinion?

I doubt that the warranty will cover this situation.

But yeah, monitors are real fragile now, couple of years ago I was stuck using my phone headphones on my PC, because my headset broke and I was waiting for my new one to be delivered. I still to this day have no idea what happened, I took one of the headphones off and got up and it seems like I added some unknown force to it so it hit the monitor and the end result was this:

 Spoiler:

I don't know shit about monitor repair, so I have no idea regarding the cost but the monitor seems good so you should ask around before deciding to buy a new one.

Yeah, guys, it is room not doom... Laughing you got the picture Laughing

I doubt warranty will cover physical damage.

I am pissed that freaking glass is intact... Not a scratch. Shouldn't it be some kind of protection? Sad

It looks like you played tetris, placed the long one horizontally thus blocking your entrance, then smacked the monitor with your fist in anger.

I don't think they'll buy that it broke just by itself.

I know it doesn't help now... but that is the reason why I always take the monitor by its base.
Sucks to have breakage like that.

I believe that there aren't many options left at the moment besides uttering dio porco, sadly. You could try asking for a replacement discount if it's still under warranty, though I don't know how the company operates in these cases.

You could send it to warranty but extra cost, not worth the hassle since the display is most likely 60/80% of monitor price, get a new one and next time don't fucking touch the display while carrying it Laughing

Any thoughts on ASUS TUF VG32VQ?

It's 32" 1440p 144Hz VA display. it does have some basic HDR, but it is curved and I didn't have contact with curved monitors until now?

This one I probably coudl afford at the moment or something similar. I cannot go for premium models with current situation.

I would preffer 32" monitor.
