Yea..... kinda over hyped.

+Runs great on average hardware
+Whatever everyone else said they liked

-FOV is horrid on PC version, doesn't help that enemies are mostly jumping headcrabs
-Mordecai sucks dick(closely related to FOV issues, as I can't see what the fuck is biting my knee caps because they hop around in circles)

Actually, 42 isn't the max. I have 45 slots on my 360.

I've played this on 360 for over 50 hours, and it's still great fun.
glitch or secret?
and if the latter, where do you get the last one?

No idea, I just saved a claptrap in my second playthrough and for some reason he gave me another SDU, even though I already had 42 slots. But then again, I never saved the one in the Salt Flats before I got 42 slots..

About online, I thought we could play with the cracked game? It wants a GameSpy account.

looks like a glitch then. the second playthrough claps should be giving out grenade mods.

gonna try not saving any on first playthrough and see if you can get 72 slots that way...

I find that the game looks better with DoF turned off. The colors are much more vibrant.

So I think I have infinite money now. I got it up to 9.999.999, and now I'm buying things that are over a mil a piece, without my money going down.

Not quite sure how and/or what this is doing. It seems there is a unique key generated. However, i'm not 100% sure if there is a unique key printed to each DVD. Interesting to say the least.

Not sure at all whats going on with the protection with this game. (Besides the fact that it obviously has online activation. The real question is indeed whether or not the game still uses a unique key for multiplayer. While the 'review' version of the game for the reloaded release works in multiplayer, it could be possible that it's supposed to work.)

Need more info.

That DFA thing and the steps to unlock it are exactly the same system used by Sacred 2 Ice & Blood. Smile

Ahh, never bothered with those games. I guess that would make sense. However, how does it know how many times you've installed a certain copy of a game if you aren't inputing a CD-Key? Is there a key on the disc itself as some of us thought?

I feel sorry for people who purchased this, lol. Not only can you do everything you can with the warez version, but the game isnt even 'complete' on pc standards. Terrible Multiplayer Lobby, worse than OPF2 Dragon rising.

The game play is okay, but the FOV is making me crazy on this weed, i feel rushed and boxed in.

obvious question, but has anyone actually tried to activate with the reloaded version? Seeing as there is no key or anything to be entered it would be interesting to see what happens.

The game needs the disc in order to start so it wouldn't work, at least not without a mini-image or similar.
(Based on the link to the activation help files posted previously.)

I assigned different FOVs to various function keys. Trying to figure out which I prefer

In your WillowInput.ini file Under [Engine.PlayerInput] Add these...

Bindings=(Name="F9",Command="FOV 85",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)
Bindings=(Name="F10",Command="FOV 100",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

Yeah you'll need to add those under [WillowGame.WillowPlayerInput] as well for it to work.

Afaik FOV 95.4370607151 is the correct one for 16:10 resolutions like 1920x1200, so use that instead of FOV 100 if it feels wonky.

Here's a comparison:

I get the same error on my second computer, an old AMD 2800XP (i.e. a single core) with an ATI 3850 AGP card. It should run the game ok, just... Oh well, I can run borderlands on my new computer, and let the wife have the old computer for Torchlight.

nvtt? haven't heard of that file before (It's in the game directory /bin/ folder.) but do you have the redist files installed?
(Installs in the game directory, VC++ 2005, DirectX and PhysX, all old versions so get the latest ones from Microsofts and NVIDIA's website.)

Oh and TSearch worked just fine for money in this game. Very Happy

EDIT: DDS texture related or CUDA?
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=%22nvtt.dll%22&meta=&aq=f&oq=

EDIT: Funny how the devs mention DX10 and such and it seems to only use DX9, still it's quite customizable via the ingame options and a bit of INI editing, looks pretty good for a UE3 title.
(Not that UE3 looks bad but lod and pop-in or what it's called can be a issue.)

Well there is that AllowD3D10 value in WillowEngine.ini, but at least I couldn't tell if it had any effect.

The FOV isn't really perfect since the view shifts when you sprint. Makes it look similar to the Alien FOV in AvP games... Guess it depends on personal taste how much that bothers you. Very Happy

AllowD3D10 didn't do anything, easy to check with Fraps, under DX9 the FPS counter is transparent and under DX10 it has a black border (Under DX11 or OpenGL3 it's invisible - )

For console usage you can open WillowInput.ini and change ConsoleKey= to ConsoleKey=Tilde and then press ~, haven't tested it much but perhaps the UT3 "cheats" will work to alter camera modes and more. Very Happy

How'd you input the proper console commands? I can get the console to appear just fine, but everything I type just goes into chat.

I just noticed that, perhaps you need to bind the codes similar to the FOV commands?

Will have to check this a bit more.

Is it just me - or is this game fucking difficult with Lilith? Perhaps I was specced wrong, but I got up to about Level 15 with her and couldn't take it anymore - so weak. That phase-walk ability recharge is much too long for it to be of any use.

I'm level 49 as Lilith. Sure, she can't take too much damage, but she can deal out some great elemental damage. The phasewalk is also pretty damn great for running away from a losing fight.
