i dont think its all that good, every campaign is short, tbh i just find it boring the AI in this game is appaling real real appaling, i lay a mine the marine says hey watch out for the mine then walks into it

i dont think this game has atmosphere either, the jaguar alien vs predator had atmosphere

Afaik, the bans aren't instant anyway. You may (or may not) get flagged for a ban, but the ban generally doesn't take effect until the huge banwave in November. Anyway, glad it's working for you =)

Early impressions:
Having spent a little time on it I am astonished that Sega even allowed such a game to get past QA.
This is not a AVP reminscent of Dead Space but rather some sort of god awful port which doesn't even represent an early gen VII game graphically.
The textures seem low resolution, lighting both basic and ugly, weapon representation elementary at best , take a moment to check out your shadow, it's derisory.
Weapon handling seems more like carrying a broom than a gun.
However the game does have some great atmospherics but can that overcome unpolished graphics?
Mystic303 suggest that game gets better as you go on so perhaps there is hope......

Why did anyone expect this to be a good game? 99.9% of movie to game ports are absolute garbage with the exception of the latest Batman game which I enjoyed and Riddick, even though I don't like Batman story in general.
Same with movies made from video games, absolute garbage.
The movie Aliens vs Predator sucked, so why would the game be good? Aliens movie theme outlived itself a long time ago, it's just that Hollywood is so god damn brainless these days, they can't come up with one good movie idea. Bunch of leeches.

What in the fuck are you babbling about? The Alien vs Predator games predate the fucking movies, dummy.
AVP - Jaguar: 1994. Spectacular game.
AVP - CPS2: 1994. Spectacular game.
AVP - PC: 1999. Spectacular game.
AVP 2 - PC: 2001. Spectacular game.
The reason people expected a good game is because the series has been fantastic. The movies came AFTER the games, and it was Rebelliion themselves who made the Jaguar and original AVP1 PC version.

If you were born back then, your dumb ass would know that the original ALIEN movie came out in 1979 followed by the sequel Aliens in 1986, you obviously weren't even born back then, not 1994 or what you listed. You specifically stated that the movie "AvP sucked so why should the game be any good?" I was born in 1981 (gee, didn't my name give it away? Or can't you count as well as being unable to read?) and AVP wasn't out then. AVP first came out in 1994, a full DECADE before the AVP movies.

*sigh* I hoped everyone was wrong, but they're really not 
This, so far, is NOT a good game. I've been playing for just over an hour and it is NOT an enjoyable experience. I know I'm playing the 360 version, so controls are going to be shite regardless, so I'm not counting those in my opinion of the game - and that just leaves everything else;
Audio: 3/10.
Oh. My. God. What in the world is this shit I'm being forced to listen to? The voice acting is TERRIBLE! None of the VA have any emotion in their voice, no tone or inflection, it's just monotonous droning. Gun, and other, sound effects are hollow and have no presence at all. Hell, the only decent ambient audio I've heard so far is the motion tracker
Graphics: 4/10.
Uh. This game DID come out recently didn't it? This isn't just an expansion pack to "Alien vs Predator 2" (released 9 YEARS ago) right? I seriously can't believe Rebellion put this out and said "We're proud of how it looks" because... just... wow. Again, could just be the 360 version - but everything is horrible!! I reset my 360 twice, checking the display settings to see if they'd reset or changed from my VGA/1280x1024 output... nope. Aliased to HELL and back, muggy and extremely low-resolution textures, horrible sprite-based particle effects, piss poor lighting and it's DARK. Very, very, very dark.
It's basically AVP2 with VERY little dynamic lighting restored from the first game.
Anachronism at its finest. Now don't get me wrong, I love a classic FPS as much as the next man.. but this feels like it was coded for the 90s. Aliens are slow, so painfully slow that they pose absolutely no threat whatsoever - I'm playing on Hard and I'm taking them down with pistols and not even breathing heavily, let alone breaking a sweat. This is on the joypad too which, I might add, has INSANE amounts of auto aim on. You pretty much lock to oncoming enemies. *sigh* There's just no atmosphere, or if there is it's a BAD atmosphere..
So far I'm extremely disappointed I'll keep playing while I wait for the PC version, but meh... not impressed.

About the Aliens, hopefully the PC version will have that option to make the Aliens very fast (I remember someone posted a link that it will be). But the other staf... Shame.
