Players and fans will experience an innovative approach to online co-op gameplay, woven throughout every facet of the game in a way that only Snowblind can deliver.”

In The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, players can become the heroes in the great battle of the North as part of the epic War of the Ring. Exploring unseen lands, story elements and characters from Middle-earth as well as elements familiar from past feature films, gamers will experience extensive character customization and development, expansive co-op gameplay options and upgradeable weapons, skills and special abilities.

I still don't see how you guys decided it was Live. Razz On the site the logo is just Games for Windows, and we have had games that are Games for Windows and have MP, but are not Live. Games for Windows and Games for Windows Live are completely different things.

Seeing as the company behind it has made games only for consoles and the LOTR games have gotten worse with every new one i see no hope in this. It will be just another dumbed down, very short, crappy port, 60$ game...

If im wrong i will eat my sock and tape it.

So probably you missed BG Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath, maybe you're not from that time. Snowblind's a great company, and they make AAA action-rpg games.

I don't think so. Which renders the game completely useless to me because I detest MMOs. Sad

For me too, mmo's are gay. Still if it's co-op there's probably a sp version.

War in the North is designed for three-player co-op over online play, with AI bots taking the role of the two other characters during a single-player campaign.

If those are AAA action-rpg games, Diablo 3 must be worth at least 6 A's.

Fall 2011, also contains different edition details such as the "quiver" edition or what to call that.
(There wasn't all that much else offered seeing the price though, also as usual there's a number of bonus extras for different retailers.)
