You mean when TW2 came out and people couldn't run it max with, at the time, top of the range HW? Yeah. Real cool. Super awesome, bro.

Yes, like I said. It was created for future hardware especially that downsampling. Just like TW3 will be.

No, you said people complained because they couldn't run it on mid-range hardware. You can't say something is mid-range in comparison to future currently-non-existent technology.

I can see it already: people will say the game is not optimized because they can't run it @max with their mid-range hardware.

I'm hoping I will be able to run it at last on low @ 60FPS on my mediocre mid-end hardware. That would be enough for me.

But then I recall W1/2... yeah, fat chance.

He said that after they had stopped developing TW2's 360 version, they started expanding the engine's capabilities to meet the needs of a wider range of platforms (i.e., Xbox One and PS4 support; the PC is already the engine's starting core point).

Has it been said how it'll run on PS4/XB1?

1080p, or a true next-gen HD upscaled experience? Cool Face

Upscaled of course! AND with the glorious 30fps lock. But there's motion blur, so everything's fine!
