Thought as much  serials are hard coded to the files. Dont matter even if you strip all the german out and overwrite the files with those, it STILL defaults to german text lol., Dont ask how ive been working on this for days, there seems to be no way around it unless you use tag changed files and a mod line.
Then your fucked on good servers it seems as you will need a key signed specificaly for that language pack your using.. there is a post on bis forums from "wiper" that he is trying to get his signed key to his language file packs to allow german to english, a standard across servers.
Good luck to him, some of the more serious servers seem to be up theyre own ass lol..

Those files are byte-identical to the ones in my itwins+patch 1.02 installation.
They're not english, they have all the languages.

Are they a few MB or only barely a MB?
If it's the former then they contain the other languages similar to the 1.02 patch, if it's the latter then they will work as it's only the English localization.
(EDIT: Answered above.)
Bit of a downside when having the game "unified" and then localized depending upon the serial used. (Should be open for everyone via the options menu instead, unfortunately that requires modding the EXE or at least I suspect it does, even if it was a PBO based edit you'd still need a valid signature file and the key file for each server to allow the mod to be used.)

Er no need to be silly here, the files are OFF a 1.02 server with files for the language dropped on it from a 505 client install. Its not my fault here that patch 1.02 has decided to fuck everyone in the ass
So they are patched on a english release, there is no getting around it period. JB said it, its prob a exe alteration needed. Its fucked up and they will let us choose the languages in the drop down but only when they think they have milked everyone that didnt want to wait of 2 copies bought.
Thats how i see it anyhow, the alteration would prob take all of 2 mins tops for them but NOOOOOO, lets make them possibly go out and buy a 2nd copy now as they are all getting fed up with signed keys on the servers..
Exe trigger for checking install key forcing ur default language is teh gay.. |

latest daemon lite + yasu worked for me in windows 7 x86. I did the way suggested in the previous page, to cloak using yasu and then doing an end process frm task manager. also for playing use the german mini image from GCW.

Ok were fucked if you bought german version and want no modded files for english language..

Well , i format all my system , then reinstall and reactivate my Digital version ( bought) , i got a msg when i want to activated it > can't join the server .. Someone who bought a digital version got the same prb ? maybe I need to try later? Uh

The cursor seems to move erratically in the main menu for me. It didn't do that before, is it fade ? And why would it get triggered with the itwins and not the genesis ? ...

Use the one in the info ...
But when the next patch comes out, they will probably have it blacklisted lol.

Use the one in the nfo , just tried playing again not for me but i may give it another go later when im bored. My system isnt that great either (amd 7850 nvidia 9600 4 gig ddr ) but playing at 1680x1050 with no problems.

With patch 1.01 > english , with patch 1.02 > german ... wtf ? i don't folow the story about key and local language .. Does onlinekeystore got German key too ?

Is there a way to turn off HDR? I have post processing turned off in the settings but the lighting still dims too much, like my characters going to black out or something.
