Knowing 2/10 - no attachment to any of the characters (as a result, a snorefest), least of all Nicholas Cage (he uses the same expressions he has been using ever since The Rock, get a new fucking agent at least) and a crapola story in what could have been an interesting take on numerology, but instead turns to aliens for help. Running out of ideas mr. scriptwriter? Only positive thing was Proyas' visual style.

Ip Man 9/10 - Very good chinese martial arts flick that manages to stand out from the herd. It's not as grandiose as Fearless, story is simple, yet quite captivating once you get into it. Unsure on which martial art is being practised here (several kinds, perhaps?), but it stand out to me as being fast, agile, and raw. Martial arts scenes feels very aldrenaline driven and real to me. If there was any wire in this movie, it was rare. Stars martial arts legend Donnie Yen as Master Ip. A sequel is coming next year.

Knowing 3/10, had excellent potential, but totally lost it with the quasi-mystical/alien explanation. I was wrong to doubt those who criticised it before.

I disagree. Valkyrie or Revolutionary Road would qualify as a "blah blah blah blah" movie not this.
Knowing - 8/10
Just finished watching it and I gotta say I really liked it. It was an enjoyable experience. The reviews on this site are way too harsh. The ending was a little out there but overall it was very entertaining

meh , like kisin said , bla bla bla with nice effects
Valkyrie was kinda good , tho the PG-13 shit really fucked it , i want to see more realism in my WW2 movies (like Schildner's List)
Revolutionary Road , bla bla bla , but with great acting , the story was badly translated on film , you just didnt feel conected to the story , but like i said the acting was great ,kudos to Kate Winslet and especially to Michael Shannon , the John Givings character was just fucking awesomely played.
anyway , Transmorphers 2 Revenge of the Horrible Suckfest made 125 already , it better not fucking do more than 300 , its just too bad to diserve the money , shit , at this rate it could be really close to TDK who diserved the money , anyone who saw the movie can't say it was bad , it was at least good or OK , not like this piece of shit.

Don't call my review too harsh, it's an accurate description of the movie (for me)
I don't dispute that you seemed to like the ending a bit, but for me: overly sentimental, overly cliched, overly mainstream hollywood sugar-on-top-ending, a complete joke and a completely other mood from the rest of the movie, it was so utterly crappy and dragged out forever, and the whole goodbye between Cage and his son, bleh, pukeworthy. But it didn't stop there. Then we had to have the whole running around on alien planet with the kids. All accompanied with over-the-top crappy music. I was about to put a bullet in my brain.

Ip Man
10/10
I had to rewind the part when he beat the shit out of the 10 guys 10 times. I've never seen anything like that before. Even in the Tony Jaa movies, the guys didn't take a whoopin like that. I'm mad I didn't know about this movie sooner.

The Jacksons - An american dream 1992
9/10
Saw this movie once in my childhood but i decided to watch it again and i must say i really enjoyed that movie. What a talented guy MJ was despite his bad things.
But after seeing this movie i understand more about his actions.

I watched the 720p one, and it looked really good, I only go for 1080p in really visually outstanding movies, like the upcoming Watchmen bluray

Evil Bong is probably the worst film i have watched all the way through 3.9/10 on IMDB but they are most probably votes from the cast and crew who pretended to like that abomination of a film.

Der Untergang 720p - 10/10
This is probably the 3rd time I watch this movie and once again I cannot make a single negative critic about it, it is absolutely superb and flawless from beginning to end, Bruno Ganz portrait of Adolf Hitler is completely outstanding, every single scene with Hitler is mind blowing, the urban war scenes in a completely destroyed Berlin are also some of the best I've seen, they are definitely not inferior to Band of Brothers urban scenes.
Overall this is a masterpiece in all it's greatness and probably the best war movie about WW2 European front.

Transformers: The revenge of the Fallen 8/10 : Great CGI, and lots of action! And Megan Fox The story was a bit pathetic at times, but it doesn't ruin the movie. Those who haven't watched it, go to the movies, it's worth the money

Transformers 2 : 4/10.. pathetic lines, tried to be funny way too much.. first one was without a doubt better.
Public Enemies : 10/10 Easily one of my top films of all times.. maybe I am just biased because I am a HUGE michael mann fan.
