Also only 3 activations I think. Don't know about that one though. On the bright side the Steam version is out in September.

I'd buy this right now if it was on Steam. Why would they wait to release it on steam since its on the website already?

Cause they make more money that way I would imagine. They get ALL the profit through their website.

Bah fuck. I am finding this game hard. I think it might be because I never played Blood Bowl (Board Game) and dunno the ins and outs yet. I like it. Quite shocked... I thought since I played Chaos League a lot I wouldn't be lost in this. I was wrong.
I am just finding it a little hard... course I only got the chance to play one match and that was tonight. just not much time these days.

My only gripe, the commentary does suck monkey balls compared to Chaos League. Its rather pitiful actually but whatever. Game is still good.
Everyone says it really captures true Blood Bowl so that is nice. I always wanted to play the real game but never did.

You can read the rulebook which the game uses, http://www.bloodbowlonline.com/LivingRulebook5.pdf . Should tell you more about how the game works if the manual doesnt really do this..

This looks like it has the potential to be a really fun game - however I don't think I've ever played a game like it before. Is it like a turn based sports game mixed with D&D stats and dice rolling? $50 is way too much for a download only title with 21 days of access and 3 activations. Will wait for a release or at the very least a demo.

Is there any game that's similar to it in feel and play style? Don't really know what to compare it to.

I'd really like to order the game for less than 50€, but are there any other downsides to ordering the game over ultima.pl? (ingame-language polish?)
Or do you just get an internationally valid serial and download the full game (including all languages) via the official blood-bowl page?

It is indeed a DnD sports game basically, it's based on the Warhammer universe as you've guessed. Not only is there a turn based version tho but real time as well, which basically makes it a bit RTSish. It's great fun and really worth at least a try. Smile

I don't think you are supposed to download a copy via torrent in order to play it, there has to be a proper way for the ultima.pl- customers to download it.
maybe damador can explain how the whole procedure went for him.

Heres a "Let's Play Chaos League" youtube series so you can get a feel for what Chaos League was/is like and it will give some idea of what Blood Bowl is like.

Bit of a shame that Chaos League was usually played with fog all over the field. Makes it hard to actually see Wink

I'm thinking about getting a key through G2play, will that key allow me to download the game from their site or will I have to find the client on the net?
