Someone needs to make a Game Jackal profile and see if it works on other machines.

GameJackal is for dvd-based protections. This is hardware activation-based, it needs the hardware-dependent activation data to match.

Am I the only one who can't stand the over-use of bloom in this game? Every screenshot I look at, it's all a blurry mess.
Anyway, what exactly is this game about? I assume you try to build the largest and best city?

here (Dutch store) for €37,50. I'm guessing you can find it for around the same price in other EU countries.

like that's stopped crackers from cracking previous crapware games, this is no crapware, got tired of waiting for crack, so i caved in a bought it on steam, first singleplayer game purchased for me in years, definitely will support good software such as this title

hehehe its clear that the modern idea of copy protection is to slow down the proccess of cracking the game. the sells of a new game usually its critical at the launch of it. so, as the crack is delayed, they sell more... like 8ball did.

First of all, the so called "clones" on torrent sites and usenet aren't clones at all, they are simply ISO images, because this game doesn't have a disc protection. So yes, if you have a legit key you can activate and play (just like Riddick or any other game that has online activation).

Well, there was a Reloaded release where they made the install automatically install the cracked exe (I would assume they simply swapped the original on the disc with the cracked one). If it wouldn't have turned out to be fake it still could have had the fixed exe.

I can hardly believe that people think THAT works. Those people buys everything right? I mean, the holy lord personally made such inventions like dupecheck and nfo boards. OHHHH and the most important thing is: the brain. With these three tricky sources of information I guess it´s quite possible to figure out what´s real and what´s not. But yeah... we´ll give it a try
