Please anyone have a confirmed solution for Vista x64?
Also how do I fully uninstall this crap I wanna get rid of every single trace of it before I reinstall and try something new.

After the uninstallation delete the ArmA2 folder in "My Documents", or however it's called in Vista. Strange that Virtual CD works and is not blacklisted.
Damnit I really want a new Alcohol version (for other titles, I've activated this one)

So apparently I downloaded the demos retarded cousin. I tried the helicopter training. Did the transport mission, came back and landed, after I landed I spawned near the chopper and he asked me what I wanted to do. I clicked "attack mission".
It went like this:
1. Good landing!
2. what do you want to do?
3. Attack mission
4. Okay head towards that cob...fade out
5. mission failed
and I was at the end screen
wtf?

YASU is for running the game, so using it before or after the installation is the same thing.

it's quite annoying when you get shot and not even know where it came from, especially when you do your best to remain undetected... and it's not fade...
I got shot in the leg and I couldn't do anything but craw and even called the medic but he just didn't give a shit

I'll try this game again in 6 months or so, maybe it'll be less buggy and smoother.

I died and reloaded my save in the demo. The squad leader had been hit. The medic was right beside him.. and wouldn't heal him. I was also hit.. I crawled over beside the medic and kept calling him..wouldn't heal me. Eventually the squad leader was like "Fuck this" and with his bloody body he dragged himself over to shoot at someone and got killed. The medic followed the commander and did nothing the whole time.
Then I continued to call him. I ended up calling him about 30 times before he'd heal me...all within pissing distance.
I was considering buying this, but with this quality, I won't even download it.

This game is worth every penny. It has a very deep gameplay and it can keep you glued to the computer for 2 hours without you even knowing that you spend that much time.
And for those who complained that this game doesn't have mp. I would say that you should try it before you judge it.

anyone knows whether to buy a real valid working english cd key? as i know most of those online cd key stores are selling the german version but i have yet to come across any with the english one.
