Seeing as most of u are having bad luck getting an english key, I am willing to sell mine(region free, language selectable), activated only once. First person to pm me with paypal USD 20 gets my key. And I can send u references from Ebay and heatware if u contact me by PM.
I am more of the run n gun COD player. This game requires lot of patience and maybe some real military training to play...so good luck!!!!

I played the demo too. And i didn't encounter any problems. | Extremely compelling argument. You should call them up and offer to work for their marketing department because no one sells it like you. quote from WBB member on files I posted
"Ok first response back as promised !
the fix works perfectly , ive been playing for almost 4 hours with no fade or what so ever , here is what i did :
-deleted the game .
-cloaked my drive with YASU .
-replaced the image for the main DVD with the one supplied here and backed up the old one .
-mounted the main DVD with the new image on Daemon Tools Lite .
-Installed the game .
-Updated it to 1.02
-finally i found out that the image from game copy world works , if u use the main DVD it will tell u not to use the back up so mount the image for the game from GCW .
-PLAY !
if screen shots are needed as proof ill be more than happy to give them out , game works like a charm with no problems at all !
everything was done using the latest versions of YASU , Daemon Tools Lite .
im running on Windows Vista SP2 Home Premium !
last but not least , pakrat i love you LOL no homo but your by far the greatest man to ever live , ive been looking for fixes for a week . my eyes got sick really . thanks bro !!"
So it IS working for others too !

I'm getting deja vu.
This is Arma all over again. Mind you, I'm running Arma patched to 1.14 without FADE but it took ages to get a proper crack.
If you really dig this game then I suggest you buy a key or the full game.
FADE to me is the best copy protection around because you never know when it will kick in.

Just got the game from Play, this game is worth supporting imo.
But i'm disapointed with the controlls (i knew i would be).. It feels like the controlls are digital since they're so unprecise, it'll continue a little more even when you have stopped draging the mouse, like it can't handle that kind of analog precision. It's much more like controling a vehicle than a human. Makes very little sense to me. I could have understood if they wanted to make the controls harder when e.g running with a weapon out, but not all the time.. It's a shame since the game is so great otherwise.
Were there any mods that fixed the controlls for Arma1 (if i remember correctly they were even worse..)?

Do you mean the sway? Where the weapon moves on a bit after aiming? I think its supposed to be part of realism wich works for me (along with the movement after running or no nprone positions)
If it's lag though then that might be cured with tweaking the "render frames ahead" setting in the Nvidia control panel or with some ati tool.
Good luck

I've done all tweaks already (i've gone though all threads on the official forum). I mean that the movements aren't as precise or smooth as in other games. I know it's supposed to be a feature but it just feels wrong and very unnatural.

Why don't people simply buy the full game?
I did, cost me 23 pounds lol.
Save all the headaches.
I've been offline for 5 days, modem blew up, got me replacement today, fuck me it is boring without the net.
Hi btw.

It's just that there is no difference to the method people are using from day 1.
So if someone doesn't succeed with the GCW mini (because of the chipset), he/she surely doesn't with yours as well.

OnlineKeyStore seems to have changed their ArmA 2 website.
It now says: THIS CD_KEY UNLOCKS THE GERMAN RETAIL VERSION
However the day I ordered the key (23rd of June), this wasn't posted on the page!
http://www.mvdl.info/ss_onlinekeystore_23_6_2009.jpg
Oh well, I can only hope they will send me a new key, in English. Instead of German. :S
* warning * Do not buy keys from: OnlineKeyStore.com
They advertise English keys, but are actually German keys! * warning *

I agree, i bought this thinking the net code would of been a shed load better then arma1.
Hopefully patches improve it, top game but fuck me, they still have that shitty system when when getting missions, it takes fucking ages to download it.
Sort it out ffs.
