But the "Express delivery" icon seems grayed out, so I'm guessing that means no instant delivery for now?

Could someone elaborate what anno games are all about? :shy: never played one before. Is it all about economy?

Seeing it says "no steam" I assume that means it works with a clone. Do clones actually work tho when used with a key? Anybody tried it?

There are no clones for this game as it doesn't have a disc check protection, only online activation. Download ISO, install, enter key and play.

im tryin to upgrade my orients but it says i need a diplomatic rank of grand vizier's
i've bought all the scrolls from the other dude at his island to grant me my thus far diplomatic ranks , i can't seem to buy another one that allows this level, i feel like im missing something, my orients can't upgrade cause that diplomatic rank isn't there, and i can't buy the scroll from the dude like i did for the other levels

yes, just mount & install, after that you can directly unmount if you want (I did)
then on first start of anno4.exe just put your key, activate online, and you're set, even if you reinstall the game, as long as your system does not change (it wont need reactivation). you can even backup your files from the $programs$/Tages dir, if you reinstall your system / OS, if you keep the exact same partition, since the system hash will still be the same.
