so what, you can buy any GFWL game and use key to play online in SFIV? if yes, thats so sweet - u can download SF IV and legally play online with key from any cheap GFWL game (like universe at war mentioned above)

Yep. You can use any GFWL key with any GFWL game and you can use the key as many times as you want to with different games.

Even if they can be activated once its very nice option to have - dl more expensive game and use key from cheaper, original one. So SFIV doesnt require any key by its own - only GFWL one, right?

Nope, he's right.
I tried my GTA IV key with Fallout 3, DoW II and SF IV (besides GTA IV of course) and all works just fine.
PS. After I lose and the counter starts which key do I need to press ? I tried all of them (well almost) and didn't find the right one.

I just tested my GTAIV key, it does indeed work on both GTAIV and SFIV at the same time. Confirmed.

Doesn't matter which release you use it with, so long as its a GFWL game it will work. (Allthough i did hear about Halo 2 keys not working or something, but I'm not sure?)

How long have people known about this key bug, is MS aware and actively trying to resolve it?

You could unlock the characters playing on very easy and 1 round on the console versions. It doesn't take too long to do that.

I played a lot of SF2 on SNES back then and remember most of the special moves but yet I have a really hard time pulling them off. I'm playing with a PlayStation2-pad via usb-adaptor and especially the easier sliding motions (like ha-do-ken for ryu/ken) don't work out half the time. dunno if it has something to do with the particular D-PAD on the playstation-controller or if maybe somehow they made it worse during the port. somebody else experiencing issues like that? what kind of controller are you guys using? |
How did you get it to work with your ps2 controller?
doesn`t work for me :/
edit: got it working

No, you cannot run the game at higher than 60 FPS, and this is for a very good reason. The game needs to run at exactly 60 frames per second at all times | Im pretty sure I played the benchmark at 72Hz. Did they change that in the game version?
