Had to lower a lot of things even with a great PC (except for my 8800GT) to make it run properly...

Playing on G4WL with Club key, thinking about getting a decent arcade stick for this game now since the regular xbox360 controller is not that responsive and hurts my hands after a while.

How are your running the actual game? Didnt GTAIV have issues where they were able to notice cracked exe combinations with G4WL keys and then duley cancelling your account.?
Pleaes enlighten me I do not wish to put my only G4WL key at risk  |

The more i play this , the more i want to find the little yellow guy who made it and make him one of the game's trademark moves.. I also want to go to a friend and play Soul Calibur IV all day long..
So let's start from the beginning..
Graphics and sounds:
From all the possible fighting games out there we got the one with the minimal graphics... It's 2D...(yeah yeah.. 3D models bla bla..) The charater models are OK - they may be godly by console standarts.. but are nothing special by PC standarts. The colors are vivid and bright. Unfortunately there are not many arenas and most of them are quite unoriginal.
The Music and sounds are not bad. The title song... i really can't associate this kind of music with fighting games... Imagine a Justine Timberlake song in Mortal Kombat ? - same feeling here...
Characters:
I feel being back to kindergarden looking at characters like Rufus and El Fuerte...
Most of the models look the same... bare fighters with different colored kimonos... It gets old real quick.( I love the charaters diversity in ... hell, every other game.)
Also I got the feeling i play Steroid Figher IV.... Everyone is buffed to hell.... It's not bad to have some strong looking characters.. but.. all of them ?
One of the things that i love the most about Soul Calibur is the character creation & customization. The creation options are limitless... So many unique fighting styles, items and otpions - not like here... where everyone has the same throws , shoruykens and spinkicks and kimonos. There is no creation here.... sad..
The most laughable thing here is the character customization... You can assign a different color... and the highly useless taunts.. (if you use one be ready to be kicked hard) A different color - in a age when each and every fighting game has costumes and styles to unlock ? (LOL @ DLC)
Gameplay:
Fighting in 2D plane results the following stuff -> No sidestepping . No ring outs. ( I love those things.)
There is different focus of combos & special moves on the different fight games... Chaining combos in Tekken, combining them with specials in Mortal Kombat etc.
Here the focus is the following: special moves SPAM. SPAM SPAM SPAM. I don't know about this MP, but there was spam in all the previous SF, the AI SPAMS... and if you try to do something aside spaming you get a spam combo of specials on you.. And there are no deflects, and grab & special moves counters like in the.. normal games..aside the focus attack.
Speaking of AI, the difficulty here is unhumanly to the point of frustration. There is no slight increase in it... After several rather easy fights you suddenly bump into a brickwall. Pure luck is the way to win... I think that by script or the strange pattern there are 1-2 ot those bricks along the way - and then - the final boss a.k.a. THE WATCHMEN's big blue guy and his blue willie.. This guy has the most frustrating boss moves ever...
Also, i can't stop thinking that when the game was ported to PC, some of the ridiculous moves could've been changed for the PC version.
Also why no mouse support ? The mouse could easily act as a stick on a pad....
But whatever.
The game seems overhyped on so many levels. But i suppose it's meant to be for all the hardcore fanboys out there...
I imagine this game to be fun only in MP... Tho what's the chance of not facing a hardcore pro figher from Asia who can spam better than the AI.
In the end i have to questions:
1. What's the cheapest gamepad avaible that works great with such games on PC.
2. It's being asked but to bump it - any online store with cheap GFWL keys ?

Lol , i had a plan how to get a GFWL key for my friend and it worked:
First of all, i remembered about a Sega game called "THE CLUB" the time when the key's were send to those who didn't get it with the retail version.
I visited the official site of the game and went HERE, I saw a red text "Missing a Produck Key? Click here for info". I clicked on it , and then i was taken to the instrucions :

Well i told about it to my friend,about a plan i had for acquiring the key for GFWL.I told him to write a letter to their Support Center , all he's written was like "Hi, i bought my "THE CLUB" game from a retail store,went back home, opened the box, and i didn't have the Key inside,then i went back to the store, and they told me that i should write to you. I also saw in the official site,that some of the copies of the game didn't have the key inside, so could you send me the key ? "
After a day, he got he's answer for the problem "Send us you're games picture with a paper aside wich would have youre name and somekinda code writen(i really don't remember what was that code name), then we will send you you're key...." they were also writing something about piracy
So,then i had to find an image of "THE CLUB" game box,didn't take long and i found it on Ebay.
Here is it:
Then i took a picture of a piece of paper with my friends name and somekinda"code" written
 Well, all that i needed now was to photoshop these two together took about 2 minutes
Here's the result:
 So my friend send this back to them , and again, after a day he had his answer in his email with the key

here's my success story :
LeoNatan posted a thread saying that the official The Club site was sending away free keys for the game, so I went there put my email, hummed a chiptune through my nose and got the key. I got only one because I thought it'd be just for that game, lol.

What is the "point" then? I'm on the fence here, wondering if I should download. Looked at some game videos and found it to be very bland and simple. I'm comparing to the Tekken I have on PSP. Tekken is absolutely awesome and SF4 doesn't look in the same league. Am I missing something?

They just asked for a receipt when i emailed Sega for a key. I sent them a hardware receipt.. worked though.
