Damn this extracting from the rar files take ages. The time for dvdrips is ok though I dont like them but this is the shit. Takes about 9min to extract the image file. I guess It's time to change my comp, hehe.

Bah... you and your gbps broadband.

In our country, we pay for 10mbps. And we like it... sort of.

It's just that I had to extract like 10 dvdr movies at one time to extract, and much more to do later. Speed is not the issue here, It's the damn extraction.

I was referring to the fact that you guys are spoiled by the freakish speed so easily available down there...

as for extraction... what do you expect dude, they are 5gb's apiece... just like any major scene release (any large one, anyway), extraction takes a while. Just one downside of archives vs. sharing the images.

/downloads Xvids because has no patience to wait for 5gb's @ 5-50 kb/s

you know that it speeds up if you extract the image to another hd, not to the one with the rar's.

Grr... It's 8+ hours for 1CD here (BTorrent really sucks, and I've not the $ for paid news servers)... DVD would be somewhere in the 2 day neighborhood, if not more...
