I wanted to really play with fuerte but his style is really difficult.. not for new players thats for sure. HE doesn't hit where you want him to hit.. infact you have to calculate where you want him to land his twisty punches and kicks. I've always found ryu and guile to be safe bets and its been proved here yet again. Sure, they arent fast but atleast they kick and punch right where you want it to land. As for sagat I could never grasp the playstyle.

Just a quick question, what does qcf and PP means? I know HP is heavy punch but what's qcf & PP?
THe game runs fine but AA won't work. If I enable it (2x, 4x, whatever), nothing shows up on the screen when I launch a fight and I often go back to Windows and it says that the video driver was not responding.

Did you fix dpad on your 360 controller? Because I did and it's incredibly clicky and responsive now.
This is how to do it, you can skip entire sanding part (which means you don't even need to take out dpad) and just do pringles top disc thing which is in the second half of video

Somehow I find it hard to believe you made it through the fight with Seth without losing, and on the hardest difficulty.
Uh Seth isn't really a problem. Though I guess if you haven't tasted cheap teleports and bullshit priorities from SNK's King of Fighters series, then I guess you might find Seth hard.
Believe me, Seth is nothing. The guy doesn't even have any special priority for his moves. That move where he sucks you in? Yeah you can pretty much hit him while he's doing it. Were that Orochi from KoF 97, he'd have hit you with a super the moment you touched him.
Hell the guy doesn't spam supers either. He just teleports a lot, which I guess might get annoying, but just wait it out and you'll see his pattern.

I was surprised myself but the best thing you can do in SF4 is to be patient and wait for the right moment to do the right move

You'd change your opinion upon playing a high level Seth online. They are forced to play hit and run because of the ridiculous damage he takes. Next to Blanka/Dhalsim he is the most annoying character in the game to fight. After a dozen or so matches though you catch on to the same routine most players employ.
And I still think most KOF games are bullshit in terms of competitive play. I stopped going to Evo ever since last year but I'm really excited for KOF XII.
emppapy, dash is double forward or double backward. check out youtube, there's tons of tutorial videos, for each character separately, for each challenge, etc
Well Kamel, that pretty much just gets at my point that Seth isn't anything special as the final boss.
<edit> Oh and by Seth is nothing, I meant as a boss. Which is basically about people complaining he's cheap. As far as fighting game bosses go, Seth is nothing. If you want cheap, look up Igniz.

When used by a good player he can be annoying, but he's still a regular character that relies on keep away tactics and takes huge damage. Any character can get annoying when used by an expert. Doubt he can be more annoying than that wrestling dude though.
Also yeah, I'm interested in XII as well but damn. Have you seen Vanguard Princess?
