I have been on every island but the only 1 that got a small river is already build on by the cpu so I cannot make anything on there.

yes but you can ONLY use it on warships... |

There should be an island completly to the left.... with a river in it. Its a small island.

A quick question. How can you build the third warship. Normaly you can build the trader ship and the small warship. But what about the big warship ?

Not sure if this has been posted before. But you can find the Prima Guide on usenet quite handy for some of the achievements.
Like pause for 250 times, name your ships and city's with a certain name and so on.

Im at act 5, and i need to achieve 950 patricians or smth like that, im at 825, all the needs are fulfilled but still no more patricians, what can i do ?

building houses doesnt do anything. Your settlers need privileges to ascend. usually by building new stuff and produce new goods (including oriental stuff).

It's more like this: You need to build houses to get more people and then you have to fulfill their needs for food/clothes etc for them to advance to another level. Also additional needs appear when you get a certain number of people of a certain type.

Yeah that calculator's immensely helpful - optimizing the production chains with it is a breeze.
How do you get beggars tho? Or do they appear when people lose houses due to fire etc?

They come in randomly in a boat to your harbor and ask for permission to settle in, if you allow 200 beggars will be added to your city, only thing they give you is few extra priviliges to upgrade peasant to citizen and take up some of your food and you need Alms House for this.
If you denie them, eventually they will attack one of your islands and sit there for a while, you can either pay them and allow to come to your city or send your military after them or just wait till they leave.

I've got a bug. Mission 5. I need 100 prestige to make an indigo farm to make paper and books.
Problem is.. I can't get it.
I had a mission to build 3 warships which I did. Problem is the quest won't complete. I sent them to the port and they guy acknowledges them and if I sail them away he's mad. But I can't get the reward which is prestige I think. Marie was supposed to attack and I think something happened and she didn't.
