More n00b questions.. What do i need to do to create Tools, i'm on the first easy scenario and i'm always out of Tools.
How do i create Storage Houses, i cant find anything called that.
Are Small Market Buildings really just to extened the construction area? I didnt see the storage going up by creating more of them.

I'm pretty sure storage is extended by Markethouses.
Later in the patricians "stage" of buidlings you're gonna be able to build storage buildings in your harbor.
Haven't played the scenarios yet but making tools works as following:
Get yourself up to citizens.
Build an iron mine on a iron ore deposit (to find out if you've got one, click the fertilities on top of the screen, then the natural resources of your island should appear beneath it.)
Then build yourself one of those coal making guys (charcoal burner or whatever they're called in the english version)
Later you'll be able to use coal mines but you need aristocrats/nobles for that.
Build an ore smelter and two tool makers and you're set.
Hope that helps a bit
(And I'd advise to play the campaign, like others said it's basically a really long tutorial)

Thanks!
I checked, and the storage capcity is still "50" even after creating a Small Market House. The game suggests that i should create Storage Houses which is confusing since there isnt anything called that.. on the other hand it would be strange if market houses only puropse is to extend the construction area (accordning to the in-game text about the building it is their purpose..)

Hm. No idea then, you could upgrade your Market Houses and like I said, there's a "small storage building"-thingie in the citizen or patrician building tab (but I believe it to be citizens)

The most upgraded level of the Market Building adds extra storage and you get Small Storehouse at citizen level, its a harbor building

The causes usually falls into one of a few categories listed here in descending order of probability; Drivers (Conflicting Drivers, Incompatible Calls, old drivers.), A bad power supply(some games pull more current than others), or an OS incompatibility (Which can be more complex than drivers, and has no simple solution.)

Well, I forced the game to run on DX9 and it seems to be working now. I did a clean reinstall of the drivers before that which didn't help much. Guess I'll just play a little more and see if it happens again.
It can't be a hardware problem, can it?

ah finally finished the masterbuilder scenario ...
and contrary to what most people said, building houses is not the only thing you have to do, to get more nobles ...
you need envoys to get past a certain number of citizen -> patricien and beggars to get past a certain number of peasants -> citizens .... how i found out ? you can upgrade it using honor points so it requires less envoys/beggars for more citizens/patriciens ...

You can also get items that increase the amount of ascension rights and those envoys need to be on same island with you occidental settlement

I always keep my oriental and occidental cities totally separate on different islands, yet I can constatnly apply the Envoy bonus on my European city, regardless of placement.

Sell some of the resources that you don't need/have too many of. You can setup the number/price of the sold resources in your warehouses. You could also raise taxes if the population is happy.

Reklis wrote: | quick question, because I couldn't find it, is there a way to see which chapter I've already completed on which difficulties and how many of the side quests I've done? O.o
nevermind found it. There's an achievement that wants you to complete all chapters on hard with all side quests done, it shows which you've already done
other question.
Does the strategy guide have a list of all achievements and how to get them? | 1: well, the campaign map shows which is done, that's obvious. The color of the marker shows the difficulty (bronze, silver, gold). As for side missions, just ave before you complete the last objective, finish the chapter, check the mission list in debrief and if there's one that you missed, just reload and search for it.
2: yes.

I'm really enjoying this game. Never played any of the Anno series so that makes this one even better. Very fun and unique gameplay, and the graphics are excellent. The most fun i've had out of a strategy game this year. Empire Total War was a total let-down with all it's bugs. This game is just awesome.

The memory on my video card was going. I could play Anno 1404, GTAIV , and any numbers of games just fine.
Railroad Tycoon 3, which is older than dirt, blue screened within minutes every single time.
Got my card replaced under warranty, blue screen went away. Sometimes a game makes a specific call, etc that no other game does and that is what you're having trouble with.
