after the low sales of part one ,from a trilogy of games that would had been released on a disk when part 3 would hit the game world,
they shorten it to a two part prequel story and released them in a solid state now

i'd probably enjoyed something like that if i was 6-7 yo when my reading was a bit rusty and pictures would suffice or if i was born in US naturally, but now?
i don't think so
I seriously doubt a 6-7 year old could even comprehend 1/3 of what goes on in the Watchmen story. And yes, a graphic novel is essentially a comic book, unless it was only released as a graphic novel (as in a single book), unlike Watchmen, which was originally (IIRC) 12 issues of comics that told an entire story.

one of the silliest things one could say about watchmen.
The evolving term graphic novel is not strictly defined, and is sometimes used, controversially, to imply subjective distinctions in artistic quality between graphic novels and other kinds of comics. It suggests a story that has a beginning, middle and end, as opposed to an ongoing series with continuing characters; one that is outside the genres commonly associated with comic books, and that deals with more mature themes. It is sometimes applied to works that fit this description even though they are serialized in traditional comic book format. The term is commonly used to disassociate works from the juvenile or humorous connotations of the terms comics and comic book, implying that the work is more serious, mature, or literary than traditional comics.
along with Gaimans the Sandman, watchmen is amazing
Critically acclaimed, The Sandman was the only comic to ever win the World Fantasy Award,[1] and is one of the few comic books ever to be on the New York Times Bestseller List, along with Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns. It was one of five comics to make Entertainment Weekly's "100 best reads from 1983 to 2008", ranking at 46.[2] Norman Mailer described the series as "a comic book for intellectuals.
i liked how in this alternate reality that danny bonaduce was a super hero that had a mask with magical ink spots instead of being a celebrity. that balding generic batman clone was pretty cool too.
Danny Bonaduce? You mean Jackie Earle Haley... he's a great actor.
I can't wait to see him next year playing Freddy Krueger in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street... he actually signed up for a trilogy.
