Ah fuck had sore throat think I mentioned it few days ago in wgems thread, it was tonsillitis starting up. I suffer as those who read here alot know, and fuck me is it annoying this bout..
It looks like someone has put a lit ciggarette end on the tonsils in about 50 places and burnt in big holes. Not to mention a couple that are not even on the tonsils going down the main part of the throat.. I just boiled up some milk with some oatabix cereal to get something inside me food wise and its fucking bliss!
Been on 3 disolved asprins since yesterday every 4hrs to take the pain down a bit. The trouble is you can never tell if its viral or bacterial without a swab so if I got antibiotics and its viral they would be doing fuck all for me... Ugh hate this shit.. this vid is nice though I watched at 4am when I woke up from lack of oxygen in my mouth lol stupid swelling mofo fooking lumps of muscle.

They do it with quartarizing now I believe with special tools like lasers etc as well, rather neat, but that was the standard way to remove them.,,, ugh..

First go to doctor and get a swab, after that it will be penicillin or lots of lemon mixed with honey and preferably propolis for ya...
And this second solution is good if you get antibiotics, but then no propolis because I've heard that if you take antibiotics you shouldn't mix propolis with them...

Yeah im sticking it out for few days to see if its viral and starts clearing up on its own I think first, I dont think its getting anyworse which is a good thing, and tonsillitis if a general bout of it should start and get worse over a 3 day period then within the week start to vanish again.
We will see, the honey and lime i thought it was not lemon? is supposed to be a good gargle mixture, not heard of propollis, or if I have never used it... Still I got someone coming back with some meds to ease it, and ill defo be getting a big slab of icecream down my throat soon as possible..
The worse time I hasd it, I had to have an injection of penecillin in the back top part of my leg, as the throat had sealed off completley by the tonsil swelling

lemon lime, both have vitamin C, so you should be fine. And you don't gargle with it, you let it slide down your throat. You gargle mild water with salt, it's and old remedy known to hurt bacterias (something to do with osmotic pressure I forgot it).
Propolis is something bees secrete http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propolis and it's good for your healt in general... Try it.

Do this, I swear by it when I have a sore throat.
Boil the kettle and fill a mug with the boiled water. put 2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper in and stir it and stir it. Wait til the water cools to the point where you can just keep it in your mouth without scalding yourself. put the water to the back of your mouth/top of your throat and gargle.
This numbs your throat so you cant feel anything. It will obviously give the hot spice feeling in your mouth but when that has gone after 5 minutes you're still left with a numb throat.
It's a god send.

Yes I read about some types of pepper gargled, also belladonna? interesting, doesnt that put you to sleep lol..

I remember years ago when i first went in a pizza hut lol, and they had those containers like large pepper pots with holes in (oh yes they were of course pepper pots) anyhow the ex gf at the time said try some lol (fucking humor or what lol) and me being the she wouldnt be so horrid would she? type thinking.. Ate some lol..
Omfg burn baby burn disco inferrrno in my mouth, I think they were actually chille bits or something. either way she laughed her ass off while I died in a heap.

Herbal tea brother. Go to one of those shops that specializes in homeopathic and herbal teas. Usually those shops have informed service people.  Hope it helps if you decided to well, follow up.

Yeah I thought i was getting better on my own believing its prob viral more, but I woke up this morning and oh boy was I fucking in pain with it, both sides touching swelled like a kicked mans balls lol..
I may laugh but im so in a bad way as its now affecting the ears and lower jaw line. Ive had my 24hr intake of ibuprofen lozenges and gargles salt and asprin as well so im a bit fucked, all I got left to do now tonight is take the lemsip I am just preparing and hope that reduces everything so I can sleep, Oh and my temp went up to 102 was perfectly alright yesterday all day.. Ugly shit I hate not being well, hard work with a 5 year old on ur tails as well...
Doctors tomorrw then it seems for me, He will probably just give me amoxy incase its bacterial, but I fucking hope it is or is this a very long painful ride lol...
I so need some sleep .... cheers for all the feedback, I thought some cures of pain helped but it came back twice as bad ass and hit me real bad.

Yeah im ive now taken 2000mg total since I got them off doctor yesterday, 500mg 4xday. Ive already started seeing a diff, but thats prob cause of the high dossage.. If it was half that would of not seen nothing for another day to improve im sure.. Still though its havoc with speaking and I cant open my jaw still properly so a way to go yet...

Antibiotics will only work if its a bacterial infection. it wont work if it's a viral infection.

well if the amox is what you get, don't expect instant results, takes a few days for it to start kicking shit in |

Geordie, you can normaly have a good idea by something like this pic.
Spykes, yes the penicillin has to build up in levels in your system before it starts to be a force to be reckoned with lol.. Thats why im glad im on 500mg dossages...
Im not on Amoxy I was put on, Phenoxymethylpenicillin...

yes it works but its still a bit warm, lol, those along with the fibribufren whatever thay are really numb it to death, but if u scratch ur throat while eating at that time, when it all wears off it can be a bit ouchy!
The penecillin is really kicking in now, such alot less stress with it tonight, and no temperature fluctuations etc.. Im hopeing im now on the last 3-4 days to full recovery lol..

Tell you what i just managed to eat as well,.. Pasta with chicken and mushroom sauce, the tube pasta.. Damn im so glad to eat something nice, slides down real well.

I had awful tonsillitis 2 years ago. Ruined my christmas holiday totally.. Something like 40 c fever, after trying all kinds of witchdoctories, I gave up and went to a doctor... who prescribed me antibiotics immediately
