Seems there is now a patch for the gamesload version,but not for the gamesplanet version...that much I understood by reading the official forum.

for some reason i tried 3 times now foloowing exact instructions to get enlgish voice and cannot get it still.
i d/l the two packages posted in a few pages back and pack them up using
dv2pack -a /<mydir> dialogs.dv2
replace the original dialogs.dv2 but still in german

Hey guys, im new in the forum. First of all, thanks JB for the translation, very good work there
Now i have a question about the game
Spoiler: | In the quest "Hall Of Echoes" im supposed to find a sigil wich is inside of a mountain in Broken Valley. I search in the entire map, but i can't find it. So....i decided to move forward and kill the necromancer, so i already have my Battle Tower, and obviously can't return to Broken Vallley. So, my question is, will i still be able to make that quest or im supposed to load a previous game?. In this last case, where is the sigil? |

really? I'm pretty sure my assumption is correct, in that most people are already playing with english voices/dialogue along with correct english lipsync using the method I did above.
because mainly we're replacing the "soundbanks", which sounds like it has to do with "sound"

Think about it fuc847, the German release of the game packaged with fully voiced English dialogue, 2 months prior to the release of the true NA/GB release. Wouldn't make much sense. We're lucky enough they already had the text translated (very well I might add). The fix for the lip syncing is only for the original German dialogue.

EDIT: Oh and yes the translation hack renames the folder with the German voice "sound bank" files (Compressed archive, seems to be wave - wav files in it.) so that the English localization loads it, doesn't add English voice as all that's done is renaming a folder.
EDIT: And the sigil and hall of echoes comes later on in reply to a question further up.
EDIT: I already mentioned that some more options would be made available in the next patch, here's a bit of a clarification on that.

Oh and people are starting to talk about this little language hack or what to call it on the official forums so it's possible the localized files could be deleted in a future update, not really a problem as such but worth mentioning.

Hmm, anyone had any success with editing the stat/talent points? They're 4 byte values and easily found, but also seem to be protected by the game's own legitimacy check which reverts any illegal changes in the point distribution confirmation window(tho why would anyone bother with such a system for SP game is beyond me). Interestingly enough XP and gold are not protected and can be altered.
I've no interest in cheating per se, just wanted to test how the casting talents play out when maxed out (at the beginning melee definitely has it easier).

I messed around with it just a couple mins ago and the health and mana are floats, and they also are protected constantly changing addresses...

Spoiler: | Okay, the first statue you see which stands alone is Devastation. The statues in the room which is covered with plants are Waste and Chaos from left to right and the ones in the magma/fire room are Havoc and Mayhem. |
Hope that helps. I think I spent at least 2 hours in that maze, jeez. :/

Don't search while spending the points (i.e. during confirmation); search the value, spend, confirm, repeat till you find the address.

Ah yes, should've thought of that myself... They're actually discussing CE in the official Div2 forums as well, but since it's in german I didn't of course understand the most important parts.

I need some help guys. I've just finished hiring personel on Sentinel Island, and now I'm stuck. I want to start with the Hall of Echoes quest but I'm clueless on where to go. The first part of the quest is in Broken Valley where I have to find Maxos's sigil in a mountain. Problem is the only logical place that could be is in a mine, or the outpost in front of the mine the one with the Damian troops, who are level 25 and above. And I'm 15.
Any help is appreciated.
And I fucking hate the minimap, and the large map.
