No, I got the book with the spell from the guy on the column, don't know where to use it.

On the beach near that hermits hut, should be two places to go one with a ghost and a optional quest and a slightly higher area where you'll see a grave and three candles, light a candle and then use the book and light all candles, should be fairly straightforward afterwards.

As for the hut..

From how I understood it those order soldiers might or might not be there depending on earlier choices so the camp might play out in different ways, bit uncertain but I aided the soldiers and didn't have much of a choice with what to do.

Malachite:
Either open those malachite "veins" in mines and such, it's pretty random though or see if traders sell them or do this quest.

Following the road that doesn't go to the harbor will take you to another one of those no-dragon zones and behind that, High Hall, do the quests there, one for trolls and one for demons, and you'lll get two Malachite gems as rewards.

Regarding the ending and the game supposedly hanging:
This is the current remaining bug with the localization, game tries to play the video file "Endscene_German.wmv", perhaps try renaming it to "Endscene_English.wmv" could help?
(Note, video is not localized albeit it's pretty brief, contents of it was summarized a few pages back when another used had this problem.)
EDIT: The mine for that quest is located if you follow the beach area in Orobos Fjord's, close to the mountain range and a path leading up to the harbor and High Hall.

I found a gem on the rock near the crushed ship and gave it to my enchanter to upgrade the enchanting machine. And I told the woman in my castle to upgrade it as the enchanter told me to. But it seems the machine is not upgraded. I expected the enchant level would be upgraded to lv2 or above, but it still is lv1. Is something wrong?

Hi,
I have a weird problem - I start a new game, create a char and hit OK to start, go through a short video and then the first level/world starts to load... and stays like that (loading screen) forever. Doesn't freeze, I can alt-tab to desktop and back, just doesn't load the level.
Anyone else had this issue?
P.S. I'm running it using a burned DVD9, no DT etc.

Waargh you probably didn't follow the tutorial a page or two back that details on how to rename a specific folder so that the game can find the relevant voice files (Assuming you use a different localization than German.)

Cave behind the waterfall under Orobas Fjord's statue right at the entrance to Broken Valley, need to fly around a bit and visit three large trees before you can get access to the actual room however.

And Koliblank I'm pretty sure you can do things differently as there's a quest item hidden in that area supposedly for if you aided the bandits instead of the soldiers.
(It might not make much of a difference to the actual outcome between both sides though, somewhat unsure.)
EDIT: Fiberguy, can't really help unfortunately as a small bug made it possible to get items before you were meant to (Swimming in Orobas Fjords.) so I never upgraded my enchanter's area.

Is it a bug? But fortunately, I have a save file which I saved before I get the item.
I want to know whether the enchanting machine is useful or useless.
If it is useless, I won't do the upgrading enchanting machine mission.

It seems the upgrading enchanting machine mission is related with the blind man mission.
If I give the enchanter's gem to goblins, they give me 2 malachite gems. But if I kill them, I can give the gem to the enchanter, but the machine isn't upgraded due to a bug.

I can't get the game to work with the newest DT Pro/Lite and yasu, VCD9 wont work either. While using VCD it looks like the game is about to start, then it stops , and I have to do a restart because nothing works anymore. I made the image from the iso, and mounted it in the physical drive.
Please help, I really want to play this game.

i don't have a physical drive. just mounted the poseden mini image in a vcd9.3.0.1 virtual drive, unmounted and removed all drives from DT and then stopped DT. works just fine.

Do you have RMPS enabled and other options off? The prog versions that worked for me are Yasu 1.6.9040 and D-tools lite 4.30.4.0027

hi i have problem dont know if any1 has the simular problem like me i dont know what to do;/
when i instal the game and dont do the transilation the game works perfect but wthen i change in registry luangage game start and after 2 screen (when it should come main menu) its kick me out to the windows no error no nothing dont know why its happen if any1 could help me solve this problem i very apprisiate

Had the same problem with my laptop, but when I hit run as admin, everythign worked, its was weird... |
