Couldn't find the thread in the console area for some reason (Search word: Creed) but anyway, Ubisoft will release a limited "Master Assassin" version for PS3 and X360 with two bonus "maps" and some extra content.
Since Ezio is from a rich family, the citizens of the cities that he will visit will be friendly to him(unless you turn against them). Assassin will now be able to blend in with every civilian group(unlike in the first Assassin's Creed, where you could blend only with monks), which minimizes his chance of getting caught. However, you can't be 100% safe, since some of the guards are able to see Ezio in the crowd, and also search for him in the hideouts.
Notoriety system is a new in the game. It shows how well Ezio is known in each sity. Each of his actions is notified, and if he troubles the guards too many times, he will receive a "wanted" status. Then the guards will be actively looking for him and the game will become very difficult.
You can lower your notoriety in a few different ways. You can kill your witnesses, give some moeny to herald(the guy that gives public announcements) or by destroying the posters that show your face.
Quote:
Fractions
You can make the game easier by cooperating with certain fractions in the game. These fractions are: thieves, courtesans, and mercenaries. During the game Ezio will meet the leaders of these fractions (for example Antonio, master of thievery) and by doing missions for them you have the ability tu use their help (for example, courtesans will flirt with the guards, drawing the attention away from you). Using fractions will make the gameplay better and fill it with a little strategic planning.
These are the fractions and their leaders:
Mercenaries
Leader: Mario, uncle of Ezio
He grew up along with Bart(Ezio's father), he was a trained soldier. Mario handles himself perfectly with weapons of any kind, he's a master of soldiers tactics. He build an army of mercenaries by himself, making a lot of money and dealing with templars, systematically killing the higher members of the clan. Mario takes care after Ezio in the beginning of the game, giving him all of his military knowledge.
Thieves
Leader: Antonio
Where to find them: hideout in merchants district in Venecia
Antonio comes from a poor family. His father was a worker, and his mother was serving in rich people's houses. He could have a steady, but poor life, but he wanted more. At first he wanted to do it fairly, but when another school refused him because of his poor origin, he decided to become a thief. All the more because the people in rich district of Venecia are corrupted and immoral, so it was difficult to point who is the real criminal. That's the way Antonio justifies his decision, but he swore that he will be a "fair" robber, and will be using his honour.
For Antonio the guild is just business. He does legal business, that helps him get rid of the robbed stuff, he doesn't rob regular citizens, but he takes money away from corrupted and immoral rich people.
Antonio sees Ezios potential and wants to use him for his own reasons. First he must make sure, however, if Ezio really does anything to make his revenge...
Courtesans
Leader: Paula
Where to look: brothel in Florencia
Paula is a daughter of assassin's, she lost her both parents when she was 8. After that she had to use her beauty and flair to survive on the streets. In the end she was captured by one of the guards who locked her in a cell and raped her, until Paula murdered him and ran away. Then she found out of her origin and decided to use all of her abilities, both killing and beauty, to create a brothel for young women, who just as her were hurt by fate.
And here's exclusive video, Polish subtitles but voice in English:
yeah but come to think about it Ubi sayd that the new protection will be out in 2010.Anyway it can't be crack-proof...yeah it might delay the release with months even but it will be cracked eventualy bi the scene or a non-group...the result is the same
But who knows if it won't be delayed for PC.
Maybe they will want to implement PhysX or DX11...
I bet the PC version will come in 2010, but after the surprising "Mass Effect 2 coming along with the console versions"...we could hope for a simultaneus release. Who knows, maybe times are changing even for Ubisoft.
