From the hour I've played it, my impression so far is that it's probably going to turn out to be a personal favorite shooter.

Yeah, love this game too.
Ok the gfx aren't anything to write home about. But yeah, I love the effects and the weapons. And the free roaming feeling you get between missions. Seems like there are side missions too, not that iv tried any of them yet. Seems kinda short judging from game percentage tho -.-
7,5-8/10

I think the game is more focused on multiplayer cos most of the achievements can be achieved there

Just burned the game and saw that about achievements, too. Seems MP focused?! I hope it's like RTCW!!
Hmmmm what's the release date for this? Is it ok if I play this on box but not connect to live until release date....oh questions questions.
