considering there is a setup.exe and a Wolfenstein icon looking like an exe .. yeah looks extremly legit ^^ Probably uses 2 different installers lulz

You could start reading, it's the "Wolfenstein Splash Screen", the "autorun" is probably some kind of generic autorun program from Activision, which launches the splash screen.

It probably just calls the windows installer, not that uncommon these days, though usually the windows installer file is integrated in the setup file itself.

Hmm a special preorder offer at Game.co.uk got me wondering. It says if i preorder the game i get a flamethrower in single player... What's the usual code for such stuff, "give all" or was it "impulse 101" Might not be that easy though if it's still the .pak file format unpacking it and making any exclusive features available shouldn't be too difficult for a scripter who has a bit of knowledge on Tech 4 (Doom 3, Quake 4, Prey and Enemy Territory and ofcourse this game.)

Impulse comes from the Quake engine which Half-Life 1 is based on, impulse 9 was all weapons on Q1 atleast.
