Yeah, it feels far from finished. I would prefer City of Heroes in its current state.

played though tutorial area (millenium city) and did some quests in canada and southwestern desert. So far it feels like a SP, very unfinished and limited (hell, im level 8 and use 1 skill 99% of the time) with a passive one active lulz. "servers" are limited to like 20 people/zone .. thats like charging money for battle.net.
Oh and BillRoper sure loves to sell "lifetime" subscribtions , you know, like in ... Hellgate London, and we all know how that turned out *g*

The game definitely hasn't "shaped up" much imho during the length of the beta I have been in.
I don't see myself buying it in all honesty.
Plus, Bill Roper just makes the decision not to buy a little easier. Anything with his name on it will make me nervous from now on. Maybe he should consider using a fake name after Hellgate.
After every update I keep hoping it grabs me. But it never does.
Meh. Like someone else said, I think i would rather go back to COH for my super hero fix.
This close to the release date and being in this state is quite the turn off.
1 stripe purple belt in JiuJitsu (good grief this takes FOREVER hahah)

they sure added alot of bugs in last update (most annoying is, that you keep attacking and focusing dead enemies lulz). And when i die, i have to log out and back in to respawn.

Tomorrow is the big open beta day, who is all going take a part of this event. Anyone have any mini reviews (of course not violating the NDA LMAO)? I got a chance to play in the preview weekend, and I have to say, this game is fun, but I can see it getting boring very quick.
Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone wants to team up next week. I really would like to see how the team based gameplay is. I didn't have a chance during the preview weekend, and I really don't know to many people that are actually interested in this game.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic but he was a designer; game designers are responsible for the look, direction, mechanics and outline of a game's story. A game designer is the main brains behind a game.

If the speed on the patching I had is anything to go by, you won't be playing until wednesday.

Oh its insane, plus all the people who keep losing their connection, and frantically reconnecting and disconnecting hoping for a better connection speed...
Not sure how hard it is to package a updated version of the beta and give it to FP...

Im talking about when everything is installed and you get to the launcher. Apparently their patch servers are shitty (go figure lol).
EDIT: Its a 3.6 Gig patch...
