Scene does. And you should back your P2P forums if you dont like it (or dont understand).

same scene that can't put out an x264 release to save their lives? most of this understanding means being stuck in the past Wink

probably better than watching a pixelated 700mb xvid release, you know, since apparently people only have cd burners Wink

Oh, yes yes yes! Well, I care about games that are available on the net. I don't care who releases it and what's the filesize and other BS. As long as it works. Same shit with the movies as guys mentioned above. We've got XXI century, people got big LCD's and plazmas, DVD9, and want to watch movies in good quality. But some idiots still think that only 2 files 700 mb are somehow PROPER. Come on.

Oh, and back on topic, the demo of this Batman game looks really good. Graphics, sound - great. And I love that silent taking down of enemies. And the fact, that if they find a body it makes them nervous and more alert, that is a really nice feature. Oh, and that Batman isn't quite invincible, few shots and hes down, not like that Wolverine guy (anyway the Wolverine game was not bad either). I am not really into this superhero stuff, but the Batman game shall be really good. Apart from the gay outfit, of course.

Well I completed it, the main story really isn't that long, something like 4-5 hours if you don't spend any time looking for riddles etc. I'm currently trying to get all the riddles and stuff, sort of boring to be honest cause once you complete storymode the entire island is deserted. Haven't tried the challengemode yet but odds are it's pretty fun Smile

Still easily a 8/10 game. Replay-value is in my opinion not that high since it's a fairly liniar game and there is no "new game+" where you get to keep all your gadgets.

Will probably replay it on hard when it comes for PC just to see if the difference is all that big with all that juicy physics Wink

That's dissapointing, taking into consideration the download takes 3 hours, then it unpacks and burns for about 40 minutes Sad

on that riddler note ,

do you need to purchase an upgrade for the bat claw to pull walls down. Saw plenty of trophies behind high up walls, just can't get to them Sad

Also a question about the spirit of Arkham thingies:

Oh and yeah I mean the game itself isn't "just" 4-5 hours, what I meant was that the story isn't longer than that. I probably took like 10-12 hours to clear it all plus the riddles.

So I've just been through the Botanic Garden meaning I've got all the story related gadgets but still there are walls I can't get through?
Unreachable high walls that are marked as "structural weak" and can be destroyed by a "controlled explosion" How the hell am I supposed to tear those down?
I tried the line shooting thingie but he just hits the wall and drops to the ground? O.o
Help? ^^

I just figured. I'm probably still missing a gadget (altough I had doubted that since all slots are basically full on the d-pad)... something like an explosive batarang or something of that sort?

Yeah. It's sort of weird that the game doesn't point this out to you or just hides those walls from the Detective Mode or something. I spent a lot of time just fucking about trying to get to places that couldnt be reached until later with either Batclaw, Explosive Gel or Ultra Batclaw.

Yes but there are no respawning enemies what so ever. I've been everywhere and everything that was left were three of those psycho inmates.

As I clarified above, your first time playing will probably take like 8-10 hours but what I meant was that if you follow the story blindly, don't do any riddles etc and don't die too much you'd be done in 4-5 hours without a doubt.

Anyone know the answer to the riddle: Where would you hook up with relatives before you transfer out of here?

It may have got something to do with hanging from those gargoyles but am unsure.

thanks in advance

But after you finished the story you still can go around collect the riddler trophys and stuff?
