It's done!? Finished!? Or.... wait.... no. I don't believe it. April 1st.
I'm going to check the site tomorrow and if it's still there, true, I will be all "YaY!" and if it's not there or this was a prank - I'm going to all like "Fuck you Spidey"
.... It's fake. Oh I hate you so much Spidey. I hate you </3

Actually the Fuzz is just that it's a game by Hideo Kojima and it's supposed to be a story masterpiece (Snatcher's story was awesome so I expect something good from Policenauts)

...that and the desire to play something you originally couldn't - but yeah, Kojima and the supposed quality, and the style of the game is a big draw for me. Not got around to playing it yet, but now I can.

Hellllllllllllll yeah! I've been playing it since the other day and absolutely LOVING it! The English translation is flawless and the game runs perfectly under ePSXe 1.70 (even emulating the PS1 mouse, which is essential for this game!)
For anyone hesitating checking it out; don't! Seriously, if you like adventure games (this is more like a digital novel with gunplay segments) and a spectacular story, you really shouldn't do yourselves the disservice of passing this by.
Besides, you get to grope stewardesses on space shuttles, and you if you beat Meryl in the firing range, you can grope her too! Story, blood, guts, gunplay and sex. What more could you ask for?

Hmmz... never even heard of this game. But I LOVE games which are very story driven i.e. Dreamfall, Gabriel Knight, Planescape: Torment, Grim Fandango, The Witcher, Final Fantasy, etc. Is the plot of Policenauts up there?

Here ya go matey;
Quote: |
The game centers on Jonathan Ingram, one of the five "Policenauts", astronauts with police training, assigned to ensure the safety of Beyond Coast, mankind's first fully-functional space colony in the year 2013. A freak accident occurs while testing a new space walking suit and Jonathan is drifted away into space and is presumed dead by his colleagues. He is found alive and well nearly 25 years later thanks to the cold-sleep module connected to the suit. Three years later, Jonathan (now a private investigator working in the former Los Angeles) is visited by his former wife, Lorraine. She asks for Jonathan's help in solving the disappearance of her current husband, Kenzo Hojo, the only clues he left behind being a torn leaf, a set of capsules, and the word "Plato". Jonathan is reluctant to take her case at first. However, after Lorraine leaves his office, she is attacked and murdered by a man in a black motorcycle suit. Jonathan, unable to catch the culprit, decides to fulfill his ex-wife's final request and travels to Beyond. There he is reunited with his former partner from his LAPD days, Ed Brown, who agrees to help Jonathan investigate the circumstances surrounding Hojo's disappearance and Lorraine's murder.

Thanks mate, it's good to be back -- and I'm super glad Policenauts has been translated, the game is great and - so far- the story-telling is excellent, definitely Kojima.
One of the things I love about Kojima's work, is the sheer detail and thought he puts into technology. You can almost believe gadgets and tech like he envisions actually exists, it's that indepth --- and Policenauts doesn't disappoint.

Can you use the mouse in this game? Using the keys is starting to get annoying.
