Did you convert the castle you were supposed to build into warehouse and connect it to the assassin fortress?

Could you guys help me please? I've just installed the game and replaced the current saves with my previous ones but I cannot load them! Every time I try to load my previous savegames the game exits! Is it a bug? Is there something I can do about it?
Thanks,

How do you go on a journey to an island that is outside of the play map?
It's the quest for The Nunnery III, and i loaded all things in a boat, but what do i have to do then?
Thanks

You mean one of those treasure map thingies? That's the only thing I can remember when a ship actually left the game map. Just use the map in the ship's inventory and it should sail off.

Patch v1.1 is out, but I wonder if we'll ever see it cracked.
Quote: | - A crash while saving a game could result in the online profile being lost. This error has been fixed.
- The use of special characters within the Windows user name, profile name or savegame name caused several errors (eg invalid savegames or crashes). This error has been fixed.
- Memory errors could lead to invalid savegames under specific hardware configurations. This error has been fixed.
- Ships which have destroyed a target now wait at that spot for new orders rather than returning to their starting point.
- The AI was unable to settle some islands. This error has been fixed. |

I own the game so I used the EU patch but they look rather similar and both probably have the unprotected EXE in the archive, EU is probably more about registry information (UK language instead of US for example.) and other localizations.
(As seen from the screen, though those folders were empty and the main patch file is the \maindata\patch0.rda file plus various dll and exe files and some smaller stuff.)
EDIT: This mod is now detected which will disable achievements.

EDIT: It actuall detects this instead via Engine.ini.

(If altered to allow modded content to work.)

Thanks for the mini guide, JB !
But for me patch installer(BTW, razor version requires EU patch) installed unprotected exe by itself. MD5 hashes for installed Anno4.exe and ISCabVu's Anno4.exe are the same.
After installing patch game seems to be working fine, BUT now all video clips(UBI soft logo, game intro, etc.) are very choppy.
Haven't tried updating nvidia drivers yet, still on 190.62

Anyone able to install the patch on the TPTB release? Seems to be looking for some registry keys.

I can't get the patch to work on this version I download way back on TPB (and still active) listed under " Anno 1404 + bonus + Crack ". It was the first cracked version to come out (even before TPTB and R1911) and had been working fine for me at v1.0, but after applying the patch it freezes up, CTDs and after reboot my PC has to "recover" from a "serious error".
Looks like I should have gotten the Razor 1911 release so it's back to the torrents for me. My guess is that this guy's torrent was a Steam rip.. especially since the files are: " Anno1404_Setup.exe; Anno1404_Setup-1.bin; Anno1404_Setup-2.bin .. etc. "

Acquiring the game as we speak, Razor 1911 release. The patch doesn't have any issues with that one, right?
