Even though they acted like complete retards, I can definitely understand their frustration.
That escort quest was a FUCKING BITCH to complete because either... A horde/group came and took it, or they ganked you while you tried to do it, or your own alliance pals takes it right in front of you without inviting you, either way, you have to wait for 10-15 minutes for the respawn. And as if that wasn't enough, the respawn can happen on 3 different places, and only once at a time. lol
It's a quest to gain rep with a faction that sells a flying mount that was pretty cool back in TBC.
Man, I don't know how many times I was nerdraged while trying to do that fucking quest. lol

What you must have done is waiting for him to spawn at that very exact spot cause he do not have a 10-15 min spawntimer. He spawns on 3-4 different locations. And he's worth 150 rep which is equal to 15 mob kills in that area. No big deal
