No matter, deleted the "LIVE" save and all is back to normal. Still have the grappling bug but

Okay guys, I have found a way to get into the bugged vent in the northern corridor

Set the gravity from -1000 to 1 in BmGame\Config\DefaultGame.ini, this will make you float. Go to the vent at the door, now float around the room until you get low enough to get under the lamp, bounce off the lamp until you are low enough to get through the door of the cell.

Float up to the vent and bounce up and down from the wall until you get in, go to the next room and exit the game, set gravity to -1000. Done!

Worked for me but took some time. This may work for other vents too, I don't know.

Dunno ,but sounds a little funny fix for now , i gotta try lol

LOL it worked , it was like in the moon ,but i bypass that Very Happy

I know this sounds daft, but has anyone tried blocking the game with their firewall. Not that I have played that far, but this was one of the first things I did and I have just passed the first scarecrow without any trouble. Or do the problems come after that?

I already got the batclaw for the grappling hook and used it on several vents without problem so i guess its not a bug everyones experiencing.

We remember that Batman demo version has the NV exclusive AA option, but using the old approach, rename the ShippingPC-BmGame.exe to UT3.exe, or Bioshock.exe, set 4xAA in the CCC, we can do AA in the Batman demo on ATi graphics cards.



Now, Batman retail version uses BmStartApp.exe to call BmLauncher.exe, then BmLauncher.exe to call the main program exe, ShippingPC-BmGame.exe to run the game.



So, unless somebody modifies the BmStartApp.exe, ATi graphics cards canโ€™t do AA in Batman retail version by rename the ShippingPC-BmGame.exe to UT3.exe, or Bioshock.exe.



Is this another dirty trick done by NVIDIA?

Yes, because the idea that ATi cards can't "handle AA" is preposterous and insulting. Yet more nVidia "we pay you to lock features, comply or we'll kick you out of the TWIMTBP program" villainy.

No matter, that's life. The game is awesome anyway, with or without AA Smile

That guy is right, i had the same problem. Replacing bmlauncher.exe from the demo too fixed it.
