zerogS plugin geesus, ive not had one game that functions correctly with that yet,., im so shocked to see that in action lol...

what i found out from fiddling earlier was, ICO as working 30% cpu, full speed ahead constant 60fps with...

0_96 rev 1771

gsdx plugin was ssse3-r1495

played for over an hour so far and the game stays at 60fps, no ghosting or doubling of textures..

the only thing ive seen is the options menu is all white background but useable, and sometimes right on the far right side of the output screen you see a line of white glow from when you get god rays through windows etc etc... Im sure i might be able to cancel that out somehow, but cause the game itself and gfx are running like a wet dream im not fiddling anymore with it right now...

DVD patches (though I don't recommend them, especially for games that have cutscenes - ie; all Razz as they run out-of-sync) or PAL games that have 60hz selectors.

Update:It seems the problems with the cut scenes only happen when you turn on Speed hacks,
I turn them off,and no more cut scenes problems.
it seems the game was very well optimized to the PS2 hardware and very well Emulated.
so Speed hacks are not necessary{at least for me} for this game to run at most of/full speed.

Edit: I'm going to test more PS2 games and I will report the result later

To create the INI, or to simply just add the hack, load Dolphin then right-click Muramasa and select PROPERTIES. At the bottom, click EDIT CONFIG. Paste the patch lines under the heading "OnFrame" then save and exit.

Simple Smile

this is almost the latest svn, so something might be broken. I'll post a link to an earlier revision then.

http://www.dolphin-emu.com/downloads.php

Contains everything need EXCEPT the masterkey.bin file. You can find that on Google in seconds (can't post it here, it's a BIOS file required for running Wii games)

Once you have the masterkey.bin, put it in "Dolphin\Sys\Wii" folder.

Play!

Nope, it used to be like that but the later versions of Dolphin HLE the BIOS. No need for masterkey.bin any more.

Probably but im prettu sure its included in Dolpin standard since I never needed to download that to play any title using Dolphin.

It wasn't always that way, barely a few months ago the emulator still needed the key (which didn't come wtih Dolphin) in order to run Wii titles. I didn't know that it had changed though.

Oops. Dolphin never required a bios - was always hled, but older revisions required a special key (masterkey.bin) dumped from a wii game disc.

Nah, all self-contained stuff. If a game doesn't like DolphinD3D, just switch to DolphinOGL .. and vice-versa.

I still remember back in the days of trying to run SNES-95 on my 486, heh. Enabling sound killed performance, even with max frameskip ... so I played FFVI from start to finish with sound disabled.

Very Happy

Nowadays we've got fully-functional emulators for every platform known to man, except the two "Next Gen!!" machines and the original Xbox.
