So i decided to download the direct2drive version and i want to ask is the save system works ok with Batman.Arkham.Asylum.Updated.CRACKFIX_2-TL?

Useful but just so you know it's impossible to run the main EXE directly in the full version so TexMod won't work there.

just my 2 cents regarding the old-savegame-issue: for me the "corrupt" savegame where I was stuck at the "Enter Dr. Youngs Office" grapple-bug didn't work (grapple-bug still present).
tried another savegame pretty early in the game (around 7% for me) and continued playing without problems so far (I'm at the Botanical Gardens now).
my guess is that old savegames will work with the new crack as long as you didn't encounter a copy protection trigger up to then.

Well , that fucking Scarecrow really gave me the creeps.....
 Spoiler: | It's when you go in Intensive Treatment for the 2nd time on your way to Croc Lair. At some point you must pass through one of two parallels corridor and.....
WTF ??! I honestly thought that my video card had just fried. The game froze and then i saw some weird lines on screen and the sound was like it was frozen. I'm like FUCK !!! My 9800 GTX just gave up and was about to power down the PC until i saw a cinematic start. That was all a ploy by fucking Scarecrow that jerk

PhysX is a freaking gimmick in this game. The FPS takes a nosedive for some steam and scattered papers... No thanks...

is this (Batman.Arkham.Asylum.Updated.CRACKFIX_2-TL) the newset crack? and does it work with the d2d verison (removing save problems and bugs / glitches or whatever everybody istalking about) putting it into a nutshell, does this one make the d2d verison work properly?

A few nice smoke effects, ability to destroy some tiles on walls and paper that swirls when you walk on it. Personally I don't see it as worth it, but if you've got a machine that can handle it; it adds to the atmosphere, I guess.

tanks man, i have a graphic card that can handle it.... by the way in generell is physx a performance eater? (have dualcore 2,2, 8600gt, its a dell vostro laptop... could play almost all games, but the latest period of new games start to fuck my laptop, seems to be "out of date" soon)
im not sure whether implementing physx or not

Uhh... an 8600GT most definitely wouldn't be something I'd class as a "graphics card that can handle PhysX" Not when it's the ONLY card. Having one as a dedicated PhysX board alongside something like a GTX-260, yeah, but primary card? graphics AND physics? No way :-\

Well i have 8600gt and phisics work with it. I can play the games with phisics turned on. But the frame rate drops a lot and it can sometimes even crash your game, so i guess you need new hardware if you want perfect support.

Of course you can turn it on, it's an 8-series card and has physical support for PhysX -- but that doesn't mean it's worth it, as you found out. Enabling PhysX on a card like that would be murder for framerate :-\

I also didnt have any problem with the newest crack. Completed the game with 70%
Considering the note of the crack i assumed the last boss to be a lot harder though... oh well
