Set sensitivity to highest, cleaned my pad and it's still slow. Sad

What if you turn off Ambient Occlusion ? That fixed it for me (as already mentioned a few times in this thread).

Hide? Just break LOS and keep them from finding you for a few minutes, similar to GTA.

Is this too fast or is it normal speed?:-

Skip to around 3.50 for actual gameplay.

I have tried the game. Performanse are not as bad as I expected. It is mostly 30-45 at 1280x1024, 2AA and everything else switched to max (DX 9 mode). My configuration is:
AMD Phenom II X4 940 BE
2 GB DDR2 1150 MHz OCZ Reaper
ATI Radeon HD 4850.

Only issue is with my sound. I have 5.1 speakers and Creative X-fi XtremeMusic sound card. It sounds really bad, most of the ambient sounds are to loud. I know that switching to stereo mode in Windows fix this issue, but I don't want to play the game i stereo mode on 5.1 speakers. Is there any other fix?

It's 50 years later. The bad guys seem like they were the old good guys. Came from Earth to help free Mars and then took it over because Earth sucks.

Well, playing under Windowx XP limits you to play in DX9 mode Very Happy

The issue that bothers me now is sound.

When at the main menu press the 'Home' key to bring up the GFWL screen.

Choose to create a new profile (unless you want to add it to an existing profile, but you'll need a CD-key for that).

Choose the 'Offline Profile' option and follow the on-screen instructions.

Done.

Doesn't everyone have an offline profile made by now? I used one for GTA4 and like 5 other GFWL games. Just use the same one all the time!

Just gets tiresome seeing the same question 20 times in every thread when anyone capable of pirating a fucking game should have the mental capacity to create a fucking profile! Evil or Very Mad

FFFFUUUU--, on the artillery bombing of Dust mission where you need to get 10/10 mission objectives, I'm picking the very last one and it decides to crash and reboot.

Couldn't have done it on the first or third, noooo, had to be the very last one...

Edit: The Walker (the light mech iirc) is very sweet, and handles a lot better than the cars.

Game feels quite fast here but I don't know, it plays fine in my opinion but on the other hand I sprint from place to place as it doesn't really take that long and the vehicles control quite badly in my opinion.
(Idiot civilians, faction members and others keep driving over me though, FFS I carry a massive shock powered sledgehammer or something - or the buildings are made of paper or something - so either they move the vehicle out of my way or get dents!, ArcWielder helps a lot as well with the smart mod on it to avoid friendly fire but not when my own team or civilians keeps driving over me, hehe.)

(That new nano gun helps as well but it can take a few shots for it to start deconstructing the object.)

Yeah vehicle handling is horrible with keyboard, it's kinda better with a pad but not that great either.

Seems fine with a 360 pad here. Plays more like an arcade driving vehicle than some racing sim.. but that's to be expected. Kind of fun to just hop in one and drive around.

I got Vista and usually there is a way to switch from DX10 and 9, but this game doesn't seem to have that option...

"-DX9" or right click on game in games menu-> run in dx9 mode in vista doesn't work with this game?

Why do some of you have the DX9/10 option in the "Games"

I'm on win7 x64 and there aren't any such options, wtf.
