I just purchased a COD 5 key from this site.
While the guy sent the key within the hour, and the key can be used to install the game, it is blacklisted from online play (I keep getting a "you need to create a multiplayer profile" message over and over).

I'm now out $28 and VERY pissed off. How good is Paypal with refunds on these sort of things?

In CoD5 case it does. Guy got scammed, simple as that.

Wait what? Who got scammed? The guy runs the site/shop or Immunity here?
Because I was under the impression that the guy who runs ozcdkeys is a reliable, honest fellow. Haven't heard that much bad stuff about the shop.
And even if I read about a key not working or something like that, he kindly replied and refunded the guys or sent them a new key. *shrug*

Btw. if I had know that the retail keys and the Steam keys for CoD4 were different I wouldn't have bought it. Then again, I just paid 12 bucks, so it's not so bad Very Happy but not being able to register it within Steam sucks a bit...

Well, after 3 non-working keys, they finally sent one that seemed legit.

And.......a day later this key is magically blacklisted from their servers - resulting in a "Could Not Connect to Online Service" error message.

Moral of the story - never buy keys online - it's simply not worth the hassle of getting scammed.

Last time I bought a key online was for BF2142. But back then almost all the cdkey stores were legit, now all of them are fucking scams. Evil or Very Mad

Sadly its a very easy way to scam. After the sales die down and the site is known to be a scam they simply just go and make another site and repeat it over and over. These scams sites also hurt the legit sites because many are to afraid of the chance of getting burned again.

Ebay is also not a good option as paypal will only protect you for physical things. The scammer will always win in this case. Even things like steam account you have to be weary of since you may be buying a stolen one.

I ask my question again here:

Who knows a site that sells cheap GFWL keys and as pay method Paypal or Ideal (dunno if you know that)
If none of the sites has Paypal, maybe someone can buy the key and i send the money with Paypal.

I advise you to go out and buy a less popular and older GFWL game. For example the Club can be found for dirt cheap now last I saw it was $10 here. No chance of you being scammed this way and the keys work on every game.

Not delivered to email, no, but you can buy online and they'll ship the game to you. They have free shipping; I ordered my Sacred 2 from there and it arrived here in Norway less than 10 days later.

Sadly they refuse to send their products to certain countries, even within EU.

I want to ask the people who know about this stuff. Im hearing people are using only 1 key to activate multiple games in GFWL. How does it work. If i get for example a really cheap GFWL game like Universe at War then how do i use the key to activate a different game like Red Faction Guerrilla? I havent used GFWL on the PC before so im a bit hesitant to open my PC to Microsoft. Also is it safe to link my Xbox account with those games or better leave them separate?
