My GTA IV gwl key works fine, even though i registered red faction 3 after installing gfwl 3.0.
Haven't tried RE5 though, cause it's gonna download only in an hour.
Oh, and the crack of 2 files(whysosrs and BmStartApp.exe) works fine on vista x86.
Just launch it with the cracked BmStartApp.exe.
No, we have no bears on the streets here in Russia.

It's either compiled with something that you don't have installed (I'm not an expert, maybe I'm completely wrong), an application that uses hooks is causing you these problems (like AV Suite, Xfire, Fraps, etc) or you didn't do a CLEAN install (after uninstall delete everything from Program Files and Documents folders).
And then like you peoples were all like, "YOU IS TROLLIN!" and I was like "I AM NOT TROLLING!! I AM guess_who_kthxbai YOU SEE! Mm!"

No, crack is bad simple as that. Just wait for a crack fix before you start uninstalling all the programs and what not.

I agree Win7 x64 and working perfectly. Even used the crack on the original D2D version and that worked as well.
Possibly a conflict somewhere, i remember seeing some sort of a warning when i installed about my sound card, or people still running older version of Win7? Just an idea.

Except they are. Check the installs of both.
D2D, if that's where it came from, got their version when the retail boxes were shipping out. Same lack of PhysX, same triggers, same everything.
