According to Google, the "over 9000" error only seems to apply to Batman. Nothing else. Games like GTAIV have it saying "SecuLauncher: failed to start application (2000)" instead.

I got this error when my shitty russian anti-virus just blocked access to the whysosrs.dll without even asking me. Added it to the exception list and that solved it.

I actually can start the game but it will crash with Send Dotn send error and some bullshits that filename not found so its fail this RLS.

any1 gonna help me out with my problem?? cant get past the mission with the medical station gates...nothing to do there,...it doesnt show the graple icon cause of bug i think..its arround 20% of the game....cant get the icon to grapple above the gate....

Which really should prove that SOMETHING, SOMEWHERE, is interfering with the .dll. Don't forget about Windows Defender, guys. That's an anti-spyware app and it might be, just might be, blocking the .dll (doubtful, since it's not happening to me) but there simply has to be a reason. Right? :-\

I tried to completely disable the defender but it didn't help. But I also think that it has sth to to with. Because I got a "microsoft sent to" window for "BmStartApp.exe" when I opened the defender. Perhaps disabling in registry might help.
Hope together we will find the ultimate solution.

Well I gave up already. It's easier to wait for someone upload a clone and then we try to use YASU on it.
Or wat for Vitality show their care and release a proper.

I have downloaded the patch (270MB). It's necessary to get some crack to Installation directory, or just the patch is enough.... ? And for physX, must I edit .ini files ?? THX

Best game of the year!
Played till the end with the D2D release + the 2nd TL crack. Zero issues (I played it on a 8800GT, so I would not use physics anyway).
This game is so polished and well optimized that I just had to buy it over steam.
Now I'm trying to get 100% completion with no guides. Last time I did that was in Mario 64.

Anything else then Windows Defenter that can interfere with the .dll? I got no AV that interfere with the file and win defender isn't running but I still get the 9000 error with the rld crack. The latest d2d crack works perfectly, but I still want to find out why the 9000 error is there.

I'm in the same situation, getting the 9000 error.
No AV installed. Windows Security Center and all services related to it are disabled, this includes windows defender and windows firewall. Red Faction Guerrila and Resident Evil 5 releases were installed and cracked and work perfect.
One thing I noticed during Batman install, it said an entry for it will be placed in the Windows Firewall in order for the game to run. Well, I have windows firewall disabled, and use my routers firewall. Maybe the router needs to add an exception for the game to run properly? Question is, what the hell do we need to add?
If everyone getting the 9000 error just happens to be using a hardware router, and everyone who just uses windows firewall can run the crack just fine, that might explain the problem?

Running 1.1 here on xp, no problems other than a decrease in performance with Physx set to normal, the odd thing is, I haven't noticed anything different compared to v1.0 in terms of physics, no breakable tiles or walls when I throw a batarang or enemy into a wall... I'm not sure if you need to set physx to high for that to happen?

Guys, how are you all getting around the games 4 windows live key thing? all these games coming out which need a key so you can save the game - and I have no key. Are you buying a cheap g4wl key and using the same once each time? You getting a key from an online key store?
much confused, help appreciated.
if i'm being an idiot, please point it out - it's what the internet is for after all!

I can't even install the reloaded version. Every time I try to mount and execute the installer to install I get this error: setup.exe is not a valid win32 application.
I got Windows 7 64-bit, evaluation copy build 7100.
