My game sometimes runs and sometimes hangs after loading screen. Do some of you guys have this issue too? Fresh installation of windows 7 x64.

Okay, stupid question -
How the hell I can quit a race back to main menu? Escape opens menu without that option.
i7 6700k @ 4.4 GHZ, 2060s, 16 GB RAM, SSD, Windows 10x64.

it happened to me too (@ the begining)
Just go @ the end of the Choice (At the bottom of the menu)>> then a ("hide" QUIT Option  )

Damn compatibilty doesnt work at all. Hopefully will there be a fix soon

What settings are you playing on? I do intend to play on 1920*1080, everything maxed out, 16xAF, 4xAA. PC: PhenomII 905e @ 3.25GHz, 4GB 1600MHz @ 1384MHz HyperX DDR3, AMD HD4890 OC (900/1000) 1GB. Having read that article I keep wondering how the game will run on my PC... I'm getting more and more fed up with AMD.! I cannot play Anno1404 cos under DX10 some of the textures are black since Cata9.8, now I can't play Shift since it has slow-downs on AMD cards.... fuck AMD, my next gfx card is gonna be a geforce for sure. In spite of the fact that at this very moment AMD may have a wee bit better cards (taking DX10.1 into consideration) Geforces have way better compatibility, since the company has always had the money to bribe developers, and thus performs better than any other AMD card. Just think of Crysis or RE5 or any other game that has this fcking 'The Way It's Meant to be Played' logo before the intro.

I played a session for few hours and had no problems and exited the game. Now when i try to play the game crashes at the start of any race. Win 7 x64. Need for speed shift has stopped working

1680x1050 with 2xAA and high settings (all settings were automatically set)
Rest of my machine is: C2D@3.0ghz, 4GB ram, HD4870-512MB (780/1000) and W7 x64.

i get shift has stopped working error box every time i try to run it  vista x86 any ideas?
intel i7 3770k @4.4, ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, 16GB Corsiar Vengance 1600 ram, ATI 5850 BE, Antec 1 Case, Antec 1 550W PSU, emu0404, 120gb agility3 ssd OS, 2x60gbvertex2raid0 Games, 3 TB total sata2 Data. win7 x64.

got it finally working hehe,
let's see if this beats dirt 2 and that the controls are really that sucky on high speed parts.

VISTA/86 2 x HD4850 (crossfire mode) 1920x1200
1st Very bad framerates ... (<25 fps)
after lowering graphics the game crashes after driving a few races
I hope AMD can fix this soon....
Game look beautiful, driving is great, for me this title is in the race for game of the year.

Just played the game for like 1 minute, what terrible graphics this thing has, gametrailers review it's presentation as an 8.8?
Those graphics don't even deserve a 2!
Gameplay was actually good, when compared to previous titles, but still, can't play a game with such bad graphics.

I'm really starting to hate Windows 7. Can't even get into the first race and have to keep watching the gay introduction over and over.
EDIT: deleted the lame intro movie. Anyone find a solution to the crashing?
